I'd miss the stock too much to enjoy it. Like a hooker with no legs. ;)
That front handguard is swappable with a mp5 handguard?
I know it is functional but that top rail is ugly too.
Apply for a tax stamp, wait half a year, and presto...your hooker will have legs!
even with a stock, fully extended, i dont think it would make 26". the over all length is 13.9", which means you need to add a 12" stock, making LOP almost 15"...maybe more. to top it off, there are clones that are just as good if not better than the original (Omega, Zenith, MKE, ect.)...nearly 1K less. 1K buys a ton of mags, ammo, and a form 1 tax stamp.
Why do you have to reach 26" for a stock ?
so you don't get to go to federal pound you in the ass prison! federal law requires that min overall length be over 26" for a rifle or you need a tax stamp ect, currently it's a pistol but legally it becomes a short bbl rifle (SBR) if you put a stock on it...
The operative word in Short Barrel Rifle is BARREL. This gun has too short of a barrel to ever be converted into a "standard" rifle no matter the size of the stock. You can swap the barrel to get bbl length over 16" and then add a stock with your 26" OAL or get a tax stamp and run it with any stock you want.
Have you seen what an sp89 sells for?
6 months for a tax stamp? I am assuming that you have an "in" at the batfe...
1st stamp took less than 2 months.
2nd stamp took 6 months.
3rd stamp took 4 months this year.
agreed, before 41f was announced anyway. I've been waiting on a stamp for a can I bought in late feb. also waiting for stamps for the can and several other nfa goodies I got in march. all of my previous nfa purchases before 41f actually took less then 6 months, most about 5 months. that has changed, at least on the short term. I will say that batfe cashed their checks and the form3's were approved, way quicker then previously tho...
I'll be very happy if I get em by xmas...
Man, this is ugly compared to the mp5.
