I assume you are joking but I've seen that actually happen at work, it's not pretty and VERY loud, only time I've actually seen the cartoon rifle bbl banana peel only by shear luck no one was seriously hurt

This is probably gababge but at least costs 3 times less than the bushnell that is also a piece of junk.
I used this to sight my rifle in on a deer. Before I could take the laser out of the barrel to shoot, the deer moved. I don't understand how people use this method of sighting

No, they are garbage. I've tried a couple different models of these and none of them have been accurate. I recently picked up the Leupold Zero Point and it is great. You can use it on any firearm with an optic. I've used it on rifles, pistols and shotguns and worked great.
Unless it have ballistic data of ammo loads, No bore sights are accurate.
The fastest way to sight your rifle is go to the range. Shoot it. Than adjust the crosshairs to the point of impact on the target.

The first time I sighted in my rifle with this laser, the round blew it clean out of the barrel! Bad design, Hiram!!
