Picked up the JXP10 from my FFL today. Lots of new features for a Hi-Point and its definitely a step up from my HP 40S&W pistol. However, going to have to get used to the weight; 49.8 ounces on my postal scale and thats without ammo. My 40 weighs 36 ounces.
Hi Point is the Honey Badger of all firearms. They just keep on doing what they're doing. Hi Point don't care.
Keep pointin’ it high there Cap’n Hi Point.
would it hurt if you got shot in the ass with this?
No. All rounds, even 10mm, from a HP are harmless.
billdo: As a Hi-point user, I can assure you, if you are shot in the ass or someone throws this pistol at your ass and hits it, you will be hurting....lol !!!
"The stranger there among them had a big Zamak on his hip"
If HP were to stencil that great big “YEET CANNON” on the slide, I’m in.
This 45th Anniversary Hi Point looks great! ;)

ahh, gun porn....i needed that.....thanks
LMAO-Genius. The UPC code listed on the gun from your link bring up this. https://gun.deals/search/apachesolr_search/752334010216...
Is this one of those 3D printed jobs? What a hunk of shit
No - it is actually - for the money - a pretty phenomenally cheap way to shoot 10mm. And from all accounts - works as good as any 10mm at any price. But, yes - there is the downside that it looks like a nerf gun.
DT: I posted this a few years ago after a trip to the range. Thought you would get a kick out of it...lol !!! Ironically, I was at the outdoor range Thursday with two HP pistols and another
shooter walked over and asked what I was shooting. I said 9mm and 40S&W
Hi-Point pistols. He said, oh yeah, I hear they are all junk and blow up and jam
every other shot. I answered, I guess I am lucky as both of these shoot fine.
Then I walked over to his bench and asked what he was shooting. He was shooting
a Ruger 9mm pistol (I think it was an SR9???) and asked if I would like to try
it. I said sure and shot a few rounds through it. Nice gun. Then he told me that
Ruger has a great warranty service and its a good thing as it has been back to
the factory under warranty twice. He had a rifle also and I asked about it. He
said its a Remington 770 30.06 with a factory scope on it. He said that its
going back to the factory for service as the bolt comes all the way out when he
ejects the spent casing. Nothing prevents the bolt from coming out so you have
to be real careful when you load another shot. I said, yeah, nice guns and then
went back to shoot my junky Hi-Points....lol !!!!
Oh, wait - does this 10mm have the same system to disassemble as the .45 acp HP? Get a punch and drive out a pin....type of thing? No thanks.
DT: I would "guess" it is the same.
I'm from China. Can this be used in China?
A H-P 10mm? Ummmmm. Cheapest way to have a 10mm in the night stand. Intruders might laugh at you while they are dying.
DonkeyThong: Yup....lol !! 220 grain bullet at 1200FPS will do the job.
In all seriousness - this 10mm does have everything I would want in a 10mm. Just - are you willing to drive a Miata to have a really sporty car. I know - it is vain. But damn - HP is goofy. I mean - if Girsan made a striker fired polymer 10mm it would look like an XD. When HP does it....it looks like a nerf gun.
Had to have one. Ordered from a different vendor at a better price.
4.5 pound trigger pull. Thats great for a Hi-Point.
