Hello Guys was wondering I am new to the AR type of guns! Do you think that you could also put home defense loads threw the gun also, or do you think FMJ's only?
I run hollow points, flat points, wad cutters, round nose through mine. It eats any kind of ammo, shoots perfect.
At 50 yrds, tears a 6 inch shoot and see apart in the middle.
100 yrds, 10 inch target about the same.
Also check out the description it says $235.00 not $279.00!

That appears to be a picatinny rail on the rifle ∴ room for some kind if sight.
I wonder how the recoil will be without a brake on it! Also it says in the description $235.00 and free shipping, how did they come up with $279.00
Is this highpoint 9mm worth the money? Any recommendations?
Worth the money? - definitely. As most of the pistol caliber carbines start at $500, this is a bargain. I found that it shoots well and was very reliable. The negatives are that it feels like a toy gun and the fit and finish are like a eastern European car from the 70's, but it reliably goes bang. 10 round mags also get a little old, but good fun to be had. Recoil is not an issue with any 9mm rifle. And this one has springs in the stock that make it even less of an issue.
Very worth the money. Its a very accurate, very reliable gun for the price. People may talk crap about Hi-Point, but this is a good gun.
I hear all this talk on forums about what a dog these rifles are.
I own several AR platform rifles and this one shoots as well as an AR I paid 900.00 for.
I have the .40 caliber and the 9mm.
These rifles are very accurate and they are good low price weapons.
Not telling a lie, just stating the facts.
I would recommend any person to buy this platform.
