"Dont knock it til you try it"
Probably one of my most reliable and easy shooting carbines I have. Now to find an in stock 10mm version.... my only complaint is I wish they would get off their ass and update the design and looks. If they would make these look better, theyd double their sales easily. Put some real rails and a legit looking butt stock. Do something with the foregrip and barrel...

I dont know why but I want one, 10mm. What's up with the musket length barrel though?

Alot of folks hate these ugly beasts, mine however is rock solid and like a laser wouldn't be hesitant about grabbing it and having to go, its been nothing but reliable for almost ten yrs

I've got the 9, but I can't agree. Ended up having to polish the feed ramp to get the thing to feed, most of the time. Lots of play in the action and mag. Will it go bang? Probably, but it's a plinker that I wouldn't trust my life with. You're getting what you're paying for

I bought a 9mm right when they came out. Has never let me down. Since yours has a lifetime warranty, you should send it in for repairs.

My experience with this particular model has been like I said nothing but positive I've heard stories of damn near every make and model having problems ,my 4595 is solid

I hope yours stays that way, I'm just never buying a hi point again. When you pay bottom dollar for something, don't be surprised when a bunch are lemons.

A bunch? I see just as many people on youtube having trouble with a gun they paid 2-5 X more for. If people do have trouble with their rifle, they usually send it in for repairs. But I am guessing that Ruger, Springfield, Taurus, and the other big names have about the same amount of guns come back for repair as Hi-Point.

Dude, comparing any high point to most ruger's or springfield's is like comparing a yugo to a toyota. Taurus can be american brands. Might go boom, but smack with wrench will fix if not, right komrad. Always can yeet as fail safe.

“Backed by the Hi Point lifetime no-questions-asked warranty“ just send it back. LGS & my FFL transfer agent have both shared stories about Hi point’s good warranty service. Going so far as to send replacements in lieu of repair, original owner or not.

I've wrote it off and gave it to dad, the whole thing is too wobbly for me to trust anything they make. I'll stick with my ar9's, prefer something I can tune in house and has more metal than plastic.

Nothing like giving a family member something that you would'nt trust for yourself lol
