The fact that they compensated an already heavy .380 makes me giggle.

Nothing but high fives and fist bumps when I roll up to the mall packing this badass.

Probably going to pick one up an extra shift of overtime to give this a try, although I'm not a fan of .380 ammunition prices.

People can say whatever they want about the products, but at least Hi-Point has the courage to warranty their products since they make them to last. They are also very reliable and their customer service is one of the best I have dealt with. I had a used magazine that I bought online that had feed issues, I called them to ask if they recommended any modifications to try and they gave me one that actually worked (had to change angle of feed lips). A week later I received an unexpected package with 2 new magazines and an apology for the inconvenience of the used one that didn't work properly. I never expected anything like that.

My Eagle Arms AR had a 1 year non-transferable warranty, shows how much faith the company has in their product beyond that time. If I have to use a Hi-Point in a defensive situation, I am confident it will fire and feed every time. The #1 downside to their firearms is the limited single stack magazines.
