11/12/18 - Brownells has S&B 9mm 124 grain for $9.79 a box, but I'm not willing to pay that much for 9mm FMJ at this time. I still have some S&B remaining which I had paid $8.99 a box for 1 month ago.

The 9mm S&B packs a nice punch, but I don't think I'll buy Herters for my 380 anymore. It lacked penetration compared to most of my other 380 ammo.

Excellent deal, excellent ammo. I've only used the 9mm in various pistols and pistol caliber carbine. I love that the boxes are so compact you can fir the most number of these than any other brand i have tried in your ammo cans. it burns pretty clean too, which is good.

"Excellent ammo" and 'compact boxes' is just a 3?

I second the "dud" city in reduced spring tension Glocks, but straight factory pistols such as SA, FN, Walther and Sig seem to do just fine with it.

Factory Glocks are ok as well, but many folks don't buy a Glock and keep it that way.

So the ammo runs well in all guns except the one that has been modified for light ammo... and for that you give it a lower rating?

I buy the 115/FMJ 500 rounds at a time whenever it is on an extra good sale like it is now at just $9.99 bx/50.

Never had any cycling problems at all. My guns like it a lot... it's one of my fav's.

Herters is "house" ammo for Cabela's and made by S&B which is a full step better than than the average ammo. I do get better consistency and groups with it than UMC, WWB and Blzr in my mag vs mag range testing. This Herters seems a little hotter than typical ammo too.

This ammo is consistently dud city. Way better options out right now.

Duds? Every pistol or carbine I have put it in wats it up. Are you getting light primer strikes from a modified gun?

I've fired over 1k rds in various pistols & only problems was in a high point.
I'm not saying it was the ammo if you know what I mean.
