Description

This is the ultimate MP5 collector package, it contains three fully transferable Class III MP5 rifles converted by S&H Arms MFC Co. with consecutive serial numbers. These three rifles represent the most popular models of the legendary Heckler & Koch MP5: The standard MP5 with fixed stock, the suppressed MP5 SD with retractable stock, and the compact MP5 K with retractable stock and forward vertical grip. Each rifle is chambered for 9x19 and is designed to be as close to the HK factory automatic MP5 models as possible—you will not find any “improvised” designs on any of these rifles. Each rifle features the West German trigger group and West German paddle release. The rifles have two fire settings the semi-automatic and burst fire. These rifles fire from a closed bolt position and operate using recoil like factory MP5 machine guns. The receivers on these MP5s we’re heliarc welded, correctly remarked, and refinished at the time of conversion by S&H. The package includes with the original paperwork including user manuals for the original HK semi-auto MP5s and the S&H Conversion Manuals. Some hilarious comments here, hahaha!

I do have to wonder why anyone would buy a performance inferior caliber pistol/rifle when a quality pistol w/brace .223, 7.62x39 or even a 300 BLK dwarfs any of these ballistically speaking and at or below a $1000 price point conservatively.

So what’s left, nostalgia? Right.

I would never pay $50,000 per gun and even if they were available today at half of what competitive pricing would be, I still would not choose these weapons. The tech is simply too old.

They're burst fire NFA guns. You're not getting any auto level, rifle round gun for under $10,000, let alone $1000. The tech has to be old, anything post ban is highly illegal for civilian use.

Yes, you are correct on the illegal part and that is because what civilian can demonstrate an actually need or use for any level of select fire.

Furthermore, outside of “fun” very few possess the skills to employ such a weapon effectively minus firing from a mounted position.

I guess you're overlooking probably 10-15 million guys that were trained specifically to fire full auto weapons over the last 50 years or so....probably more than that if you factor in the quantity from 100+ nations with an active military.
M16A1 was an absolute pussycat to shoot, very minimal kick, MP5 in 9mm kicked about like a garden hose with a fire nozzle.
The M60 had a kick but was still easily controllable fired from the shoulder...but it was a heavy bitch, not easily shouldered with a full belt loaded due to weight, it was common to let it *droop*.
I'll wager you're one of the people that think a 12ga kicks hard ? hint: it doesn't.

Personal insults over the internet. Classy.

Define personal insult because there sure wasn't one in that post....
Unless you're so sensitive your feelings get hurt when someone farts in your general direction.
Yep, class is now over.

Only thing I can maybe, maybe, see is "think a 12ga kicks hard ?" I will say a 12ga single shot bull barreled slug gun used to beat the shit out of me. That mufuka demanded respect.

I'd really love to try 300blk in auto, I really like the thunk of it verse .556, and feel like it would be a much more useful round in the ranges you'd want that capability. I really see no benefit lobbing 30 barely aimed rounds at a target 200+ yds away.

Considering the rioting going on and police doing pretty much nothing about it, I think I can rationalize a need or use. Probably can make do with what I've got, but the advantage would be nice.

I'd imagine that a 3 shot 9mm burst out of what is essentially a rifle would not be as hard to learn as you're thinking. Not everyone is Jerry Miculek, but plenty of people still rocking binaries, and bump stocks were pretty close to auto. Constant full auto .556 or heftier and I might understand a need for mounted position. I mean, I could probably be convinced to mount a trunnion on my roof if they reversed the laws.

Like I said, the cheapest rifle on there was that M2 for $11k, $20k for that FMC or M-16 which I would prefer. I am in no way trying to call this trio a deal.
