Nice for camping, but sorry, most Nt. Forests/ State parks/ campgrounds etc. no longer permit "wood" fires ( especially any not contained within man-made firebox/ fire ring...); and therefore not really practical any longer. Maybe for home pruning/ bushes/ fruit tree work. Love Home Depot, the Man's Toy store!
You can't be trusted with fire. The wasteful use of heat, the sooty carbon emissions, the use of judgement involved. This sort of thing is dangerous and should be left to trained government unionized employees with full bomb suits and respirators.

most camp sites have fire rings. just have to make sure its not a no fire time. this wouldnt be good at all for camping though since it would take for ever to cut anything. for camping i carry a bow saw
Just as a note I found it instore without ordering online. Seems pretty nice. I'm not versed on how light a really awesome backpacking saw would be but if your more budget conscience than weight conscience it's a win.
