If you are in a state where you can have more than 10 rounds, the magazine is simple to disassemble and remove the round blocker. I turned all mine into 22rd mags when I moved to Andres state and it was simple.

I just picked one up for my boy (lets face it, me too lol) maybe 2 months ago from cdnn. They are only $240 then. After an extra mag, shipping, and my ffl fee I came in at $295, can't find a more fun gun to shoot in that price range!

I bought one of the 1st anniversary edition of these when they first came out, prior to the HK lawsuit. ...I'm kicking myself for selling it because they are not made as heavy duty as the first original models. Although I paid $500 for it too. It was all metal with a hammered metal titanium finish, SD model with large shroud and had the anniversary edition stamped on it....damn regrets....

Anyone know if this model has the metal reciever or the composite lightweight version. Thanks

this is a SD version, so the upper is aluminum. I bought the same one from this company, but mine were GERG522SDB22 instead of GERG522SDB10. the 10 at the end mean it comes with 10rd mag. mine came with 22. I bought it out yesterday to shoot with GECO bullets and it is accurate as hell. I was using the iron sight at 20 yd. Next upgrade will be the retractable stock.
