Just my opinion. I never really saw the appeal of these 9mm MP5 type clones. Unless it’s fully automatic it’s nothing more than a large bulky handgun. No disrespect to anyone who owns one, but what am I missing?

I was skeptical at first but 1400 for 2 seemed to good to pass up. The new curved magazines for these are more robust and better quality than the BandT 9mm mags which feel like they came from toys-R-us. Honestly can’t complain about the couple Bogs Iv ordered thus far, opinion subject to change though if problems arise.

I absolutely love my bog and I don’t even have the new roller deleted. Just purchased a flat trigger from Global Ordance and this price is great.

My A1 has functioned flawlessly since day one. Have all three variations of the mags, no problems with any of them. I only have a few hundred rounds through it but I am happy thus far.

Does this price include all the failure to eject we can handle?

Some are posting issues with A3's........I'm aware of earlier issues (yr or two ago) with ser #'s of 3000 and below.......but not aware of any big issue since...... If there are issues that still continue, I would really appreciate knowing these issues along with what others are saying .........have a coupler and really enjoy shooting them suppressed ...... only put 1k thur one and less than 500 on other due to ammo prices...... so actually haven't even broke them in yet or shot enough for any issue show up....thanks

I have one even with the curved mags the thing is a jam machine. Don't bother....

I bet you collect brass from the range too. Good ammo and a well oiled machine should stop your trolling.

This will solve all of those mag problems. It's $200 but worth every penny for all the features and reliability. GP should have gone with Scorpion mags out of the gate instead of their problematic proprietary mags.

Could be a fix thanks. But also heard the spring could be the issue. I mean the spring was CRAZY stiff and pulling it back with one hand was hard. Probably impossible for someone like my gf. A little ticked as I bought 2 additional curved mags. Thing so far seems like a money pit.

TIEasy, I’d hang loose and wait for a deal on an A3 because I actual bought two of the A3’s w/ the folding stock at this same price (both were advertise on GDeals)…. after tax and shipping $767.17…. one was in the high 8,000 ser # and the other in the low 9's …… one came from PA (purchased in late Dec, received early Feb…..sort of a pre-order deal… had to purchase before PA actually received their shipment), and the other from Tac Sh*t that was ordered/received in Feb…… the PA came with 3 smokey/clear steel lip mags in carry case and TS came with the 2 steel along with one clear/curve, no steel lip (cheap?) mag…….. I’ve seen these mags (steel) advertised in the low $30’s, which I think is pretty fair if you wanted to pick up some extras……. Between A1 and A3, there’s really no comparison …… especially if you suppress

But the A3’s are crap. They are getting receiver damage.

The "receiver damage" aka abnormal wear was corrected by the MFG over a year ago and they are still repairing / upgrading and replacing ANY older versions that have components showing "wear," whether they were affected by the recall issue or not. Obviously no problems are the goal, but there are accounts of people getting basically brand new / completely rebuilt guns back when the receivers only had minor issues. To me this sounds like great customer service and owning up to mistakes. I cannot recall many other manufacturers going to such lengths. Most will tell you to pound sand after a year, not give you back an almost new gun because the inside of your receiver has minor scratching.

This is described in detail on the arfcom Stribog thread, worth a read.

Just get the glock mag version. You'll thank me later.

Do I buy this (SP9A1) for $700 or do I buy the SP9A3 for $1,000 (if I can even find it)? Both now have the non reciprocating charging handle however the SP9A3 has the roller delayed blowback system which supposedly significantly decreases recoil. Any reliability differences between the two?

If you can find an a3 for 1000 I'd go for that. There's been reliability issues with all of them but most of that has to do with magazines. Make sure you get to newest curved mags or get the newest release with glock magwell

CZ and SPA badass. I couldn’t wait for A3g. I also have an Extar EP9. ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. Since I don’t have an a3g it’s nice to have Glock mag compatibility. EXTAR IS AMAZING, But can take patience. As I write they r OOS. https://www.extarusa.com/pistols. Start @ $449 worth wait!

So what's everyone's opinion on this versus the scorpion, and also the newer model of this firearm? Advantages? Disadvantages? I mean obviously the price difference isn't something to sneeze at. Also not being familiar with these small PDW's, is this all polymer? How's the real world reliability with various ammo types? Thanks

Have the SP9A3 and it puts my CZ Scorpion to shame....and that is hard. PDW brace and it is tiny for a full featured PCC.

Wadup my old bantering friend. You put the A3 scorpion lower on that Bog? Best bog mod i ever did. Wanting to do the same on the new A3S. What i really need is a aluminum scorpion lower on the new A3S to make this bitch a all metal gun. Still, love the EvoMicro just as much. Scorpion Mags above all else, imho!

Keep em honest wooohooo……FJB 2022

Hola! Not yet but I do plan on it as it would be nice to be able to just stock up on a single type of mag however the Stribog mags are still really solid and about the same price as the Scorpion mags. Really weird because right now I have 3 types of mags with the SP9A3; gen 2 with the steel feed lips, gen 3 which do not need the fed lips, and some of the newer curved mags. Looks like a cluster when you are on the range.

Which brand lower did you get?

You still hoping for Kamala to take the big chair?

A3 Tactical is the Scorpion Lower for the Stribog. Can be found at Rainer arms. Shipped directly to you since the lower rec. on the Bog isnt the actual firearm. Mine was $200, works on all three gen’s. Cant validate it works on the S model yet. Why there is glock mag Bogs now and not Scorpion Mag Bogs is beyond me. The glock map set up on the Bog kills the look.

Kamala can get the chair right before she licks my Taint. I wanna see the ho dance!

Really? They run pretty good w/o any issues? I have been looking for another scorpion evo micro but this is almost 1/2 the price. Might have to pick one up

Yes, I still love my CZ Scorpion but the Stribog is my new favorite gun. Runs great but so does a Evo 3, much less bulky / slimmer, lighter, less hard edges, mags are about equal, PDW stock makes it stupid small when collapsed and was worth the extra $50. I bought mine (shipped to an FFL of course) from these guys below and they were great to deal with and even give me a 5% military discount. I would recommend spending a little more on the SP9A3 as opposed to the SP9A1 as the delayed blowback really makes the recoil even softer than most 9mm PCC's. Feels like a 10/22.

https://doublemdefense.com/...

this is the exact gun I bought:
https://doublemdefense.com/product/grand-power-stribog-sp9a3-9mm-pdw-collapsible-brace-combo/...

Only thing that annoys me is the case is so cool how the gun fits in it PERFECTLY with the stock in BUT there is no way to have it in the case with a reddot attached. If they just scooted down the cuts slightly, or put the mags somewhere else it would have fit just fine. I might buy a block of foam later down the line and redo myself.

Thank you for your comment, helped me tremendously. I think all 9mm ought to be delayed blow back. The technology is there, and it really shouldn't cost us an extra $300 for that feature...

What was your final price for the A3 with the PDW brace? Wanting to pick one up, hopefully they come back in stock soon.

My shipped price was $965 (not taking into account the 5% military discount). That included the A3, brace, 3 mags, and the seller shipped me another mag later since they were out of stock on the curved mags at the time of order. They subbed a straight magazine for the curved when the gun shipped so that was really above and beyond (ended up with 3 straight mags and 1 curved when all was said and done).

Please don’t thank him. He’s a troll on multiple deal sites. Every word must be taken with a grain of salt

I’ll follow your presumption that it’s a “him,” though I’ll leave the correction up to them.

I’ve always found his comments to be insightful. Strongly opinionated, oftentimes condescending, and very direct - yep. But helpful. Not everyone likes him, but he’s experienced and knowledgeable. Also not afraid to speak his experience here. That’s more than most.

Sorry I so offended you, your 2 posts and 5 weeks on this site clearly show you are the authority here.

Tell me, which version of the Stribog do you own? Oh, none? My point exactly. Your "grain of salt" has been taken for said value....
