used them on my AR pistol. Held together for 100 rounds so far.
Do these actually work well? I have looked at them for a while but never thought about getting one. With the cost of ammo it might be worth it...
Regarding bore snake, I just bundle bunch of old shoe laces together and worked out pretty well, so why bother buy others??
Agreed, with PanheadDude showing the copper burrs imbedded in the bore snake. They are also the correct size for each caliber without knot tying trial and error, also they tend to have a looped handle at one end if it gets stuck and the other end has a weight which helps guide it through the barrel. In my option if you were going to DYI a bore snake, REAL paracord would be much better as it has a weight (and tear) rating much higher than an random shoe lace. I'd hate to get a lace bound up halfway down a rifle barrel and have the string tear.

Where are Gogoku products made, I wouldn’t buy it.
Don't, just don't. I have been through several of these and several different brands. When they machine the tail stock it kicks it off a little. If you put the tail in a lathe you will see how far off it is, and how easy it is to bend out of alignment.
