Sportsman’s Warehouse had these in stock last week for $389.99. Out of stock now, but be patient and a much better deal will come around. $449.99 plus your transfer fee, not worth it for this gun.

IDK who would pay this price for this gun. We are nearing its 1-year anniversary and I hope Glock sits down and decides it's time to rectify all its issues, including the resoundlingly-low-mag-cap.

no matter the issues some of us will not give that price for a 22lr caliber. thats ridiculous for a 22
my old sr22 shoots fine for the 200 i paid for it. my heritage revolvers work fine for the 130 i gave.
my sig mosquito works fine for like 2xx. the new ruger wranglers for under 200 or the GSG 1911s at around 200..
or the walther colt 1911 replicas for around 300...
i like glocks and have a few.. but i wont pay 500 for a 22lr pistol. no way. to many other 22lr out there that are already better from factory and cost around half the price.

The above is a recent comparison from The Gun Collective on the G44 vs TX-22. Glock really should have included the threaded barrel and additional capacity.

Gun fan and have 3 Glocks and a "Ghost Clone", but this is overpriced by $100+! They'd have me at $225-$250 for a 22lr, or $350-$375 for a 22wmr. Really wish they would have done a 22wmr! Hope to see prices eventually drop to $250 or less, lol, pipe dream!

Just picked up a Glock G44 from Academy Sports today, but haven’t shot it yet. This gun is light! If current/former military or law enforcement, Academy is running a 10% deal through September 11th (I think). So, priced at $359.99 with 10% discount put it at $324 before taxes and $5 background check. My store was out, but I had it shipped and it took less than a week.

This or TX22 that holds 16 rounds and costs about 200?

I keep hearing how great the TX22 is. Had it for about a year. Put about 1000 rounds though it. For the past 6 months, hangs up more than it works. Clean it pretty much after 50 rounds. Pretty sure it's the plastic mags but would have to send it back to Taurus and have to pay shipping, so would be cheaper to just buy new mags. The problem is, I bought it when it first came out, so paid $299 from PSA plus shipping, plus FFL fee, so not worth putting more money into it. I know, I could have waited and usually do but really wanted it. I also have the SW Victory. Worked great for about 2000 rounds and started throwing the extractor. Actually, at first it didn't work but saw on Youtube where you can bend the ejector to get it to eject properly and that worked. On it's way to Smith now. The good thing, Smith pays shipping both ways. Just got the Target Buckmark on sale, plus the $25 rebate. Excellent pistol and much more accurate than the other two. But by all means, buy away. I wish I had waited and got the Glock instead of the Taurus but you know what they say about hindsight!

I had feed issues on my TX22 at first. For me, it turned out I was holding down the plunger on the mags when I loaded them rather than just loading them like a normal mag. Once I stopped doing that, I haven't had a jam or ftf since and I've put at least 1,000 through it. May or may not be the same issue you're having - hope it helps!

The 16 rd capacity helped sell me. And, believe it or not, I've had a good experience dealing w/ Taurus. From a no hiccups late 80's model 66 to a G2 needing replacement rear sight screws, CS sent me 2 sets. Enjoy your TX22!

I would go with the Glock 44. With all of the aftermarket support for Glock, someone will have higher cap mags for the 44 eventually
