If you are completely denied, then you have legal problems that need to be addressed before you agree to let the ATF do a NICS check... Very few people actually get totally denied; and even then, it is usually an issue of identity fraud that needs resolved. If you just get delayed, then I am sure it will not evaporate into thin air.
As mentioned, if you chose to live in one of the many non-communist states, the NICS requirement is negated with a CCW permit. Just fill out the 4473, pay and roll on. We also don't have to deal with any of this 10rd limit bull shit. I hope everyone can do away with this as well.

Really??? Every other online retailer allows you to refuse before transfer. So where does the gun go if someone is denied? Back to seller and no refund?

A. NO! Be fully aware of your situation BEFORE you purchase. You will not be eligible for a refund once purchased. If you obtained your permit to purchase or permit to carry, and did not have any situation that would deny you since you obtained it, you should be OK.
