Barrel arrived, the con is this thing is UGLY! looks unfinished as well machine marks everywhere I am talking EVERYWHERE! now that been said, the barrel fits PERFECTLY, tighter than the factory barrel for sure about as tight as some of my other (non-threaded) match barrels. so far with zero feeding issues, the feed ramp is not polished but it is smooth. ate brass no problem going to feed NASTY steel to it tomorrow morning.

Really nice barrels.Sharp cuts and barrel fitment is really good.I'm not able to shoot it yet but I don't think I will have any issues.I had to order a thread protector which does not come with the barrels.Id buy another one if I had more glocks!

My experience too with regard to quality/finish.

Barrels are advertised as match grade and I did notice a minor improvement in group size at 15 yards.

Interesting about the suppressor concerns, but I'm more interested in a rifled barrel for $60. I just ordered on stainless and if works at all I'll be thrilled. I guess in this case I should be happy about my gen 2 platform for the suppressor issue. If I do put my Optimus on it I'll update how it worked.

I got the barrel, it looks great. I'll take it out today to shoot.I can also confirm that the thread protector when cinched does not protect the crown of the barrel. I may either put in an o-ring, or use teflon tape to limit how far down it goes- or I just get a different protector. I'll update again about the suppressor.

Their barrels can cause issues with proper cycling on a Gen 4/5 platform.

The overall length is not long enough to accomdate some silencers. The rear lug or piston will contact a stock guide rod face preventing your weapon from even cycling.

Although an assumption; I am betting more folks have not reported this issue yet since a lot of them likley bought this to put a future suppressor purchase on and don’t have a few to try out currently.

You will also need to buy a gen iii reduced diameter rod plus end cap plug for the suppressor to clear the rod, but even then the clearance can be borderline close. PM for pics.

Contacted Mike with Combat Armory and he states, “We’ve heard nothing about this issue.” I would assert that is due to my assumption above.

The barrel simply does not protrude far enough (like many after barrels do) to allow proper clearances. Google pics/vids online to see this. Also, the Combat Armory thread protector purchased from them spins too far down the threads exposing the most important part, the crown. Not a meturgist nor engineer but something definitely appears out of spec with these barrels. Host was a Gen 4 19.

From my findings, the picture with the apparent proper amount of barrel protuding from the silver Glock slide is a G19 slide with a G17 barrel and their protector has been backed off one thread and photographed from the angle, Why? Makes one curious...

(feel free to chime in CA)

Just putting this info out there.

The barrels from BCA look to suffer from the same issue, but can not confirm that yet.

While I can't comment about the suppressor issues (have not tried one yet), the issues noted with the thread protector, I can confirm. I didn't expect alot from this barrel & protector. That said it is accurate in my Gen4 G19. The thread protector is crap; mine literally walks off the threads and must be "shimmed" to keep this from happening. :(

So buy knowing that you may have to deal with some "issues" after the fact.
