  • The Glock 43 is a great little compact pistol. You get a pretty good bang for your buck in terms of what you get with the Glock 43. It’s reliable, accurate, and is very concealable which is the main purpose of this pistol. I use this pistol as my go-to concealed carry weapon. It is really comfortable to carry especially if you get a good holster for it. The only complaint that I have about the Glock 43 is the magazine size. The Glock 43 is a single stack 6+1 pistol. This might not sound bad but when you compare it to something like the Sig P365, which is comparable in size and price and you get 10+1, it is a little letdown. So, if you can get past that one downside you have a great pistol on your hands.

I got mine today, went to range and 150 round later.. Its not great when you shoot at 21ft. Recoil is insane took my skin off. Its, much accurate at, 9ft. Well thats mostly expected.

If you compare the G42, and G43 together, the G42 is just a little smaller. But, feels a lot smaller in your hand. I love them both. But, 9mm is cheaper to shoot then .380. I shoot the G43 a lot more because of that. I really like the size of the G42

I used to think the samething until I picked up the 42 and I freaking love it. I have no idea why it's $400 but now I carry it everyday so I guess it's worth it. I also have a shield and carries it for over a year but the 42 has replaced it when I need something small. In the winter I carry a 229 ca sas. I like the 42 so much looking at picking up this 43. I got rid of all my Glocks a couple years ago but they really are a great gun. These single stacks will come down in price eventually just like the shields. I around $400 for mine back in the day...

ld like to see the holster. The one they sent me for my 26 sucked, the gun get's stuck in it. My PM9 is 5 3/4 long and 4 inched high, weighs about the same with a mag in it. also 6+1 or 7+1. It's too big for pocket carry, the Kahr is about as long as you can get with a pocket holster, Too bad since I have 4 Glocks. It's a little big for a mini 9, my 26 is heavier but not much larger other than the grip. Which I like better. These thin gripped 9's are ok if you have small hands, but if you have large hands the double stack grip is just better overall.

But if you are looking for a single stack Glock, this is not a bad deal.

After 3+ years I'm still so impressed with the S&W Shield. Can't figure out how these Glocks sell when the Shield is so good at an amazing price! I'm not a Glock hater, but capacity, price, ergonomics and reliability really make the Shield shine!! And the 9mm Shield shoots so soft it defies logic. I'd like to see S&W make a Performance Center version w/out the porting. I'd have to buy another!
