Description

Used Police Trade-in Glock® 22 Gen4 .40 S&W Semi-auto Pistol

The Gen4 G22 introduced a number of new features to the familiar duty pistol, making it a little more accommodating and a little softer to shoot. The Dual Recoil Spring Assembly greatly reduces felt recoil while also extending service life. A reversible enlarged mag catch makes it lefty-friendly—and easier to operate, whichever hand you shoot with.

It's no surprise that it continues to be among the most widely-used Law Enforcement pistols in the world. That's good news for you, because we found a small lot of Law Enforcement trade-in models…which means you can get your hands on it for way less than the original sticker price.

PLEASE NOTE: While this model DOES support the Modular Back Strap System, it DOES NOT come with the extra back straps due to it being a police trade-in.

Barrel is manufactured using a cold-hammer forging method for uniform precision and consistency
Modular Back Strap System for a comfortable trigger pull (does NOT come with the extra back straps)
Enlarged reversible magazine catch allows you to switch the catch to the left or right side of the pistol
Dual recoil spring assembly reduces felt recoil and increases durability
Rough textured frame enhances grip traction
Safe Action® System helps ensure your firearm does not fire unintentionally
Gas nitride finish for maximum durability and corrosion resistance
Includes one 15-rd. magazine
As this is a law enforcement trade-in, expect to see some finish rub and holster wear, but performance is assured.

If you're interested in a LEO Gen4 you can get a better deal elsewhere if you shop around. SG adds some hidden profit in what they call a "gun processing fee" for every firearm. Here's a good deal from a reputable seller. https://aimsurplus.com/leo-trade-in-glock-22-gen-4-40sw-handgun...

Horrible deal from a very dishonest seller. Makes this site seem like a pay to play system for dealers.

I know it's old but still this guy talks about SG like their some shady back door dealer. Not the billion dollar company they are....I find it funny that people get all bent over a few bucks membership fees when with the fee, you usually get free shipping and best of all you can buy your dream firearm, or anything over $250 on their 4xpay plan. Unlike traditional layaway, you pay 1/4th down and they ship you your gun! Then you make 3 more equal payments with ZERO interest! Tell me that's not worth a few bucks in membership fees?

Unless you simply love Glock 22s, I'd pass on this deal and wait. You can get some police turn-in 22s for $299. I'd hold out for a gently used 17 for probably $100 more. One case for the G22s in .40 is dropping them into a Roni carbine kit for a fairly wicked, but controllable pistol caliber carbine. Summit has them for $309 here: http://summitgunbroker.com/g22-gen-4.html....

Paid $289 with back straps and 3 mags from Kings. Night sights too

So the cops who pay what like $425 for them blue label then beat on them for a couple years and we get to buy them for 15% off?

Still no bargain. Others have them for less with more mags. G22's are everywhere

I bought one from Recoil Gunwotkx that looked like new , I was always looking there 1st for great deals .I am unsure what happened to the store. Seems like they don't have inventory for good deals anymore at Recoil Gunworkx.

No back straps, one Extd.Mag, no Box. Add long as the gun is worth it. But it's kind of higher than others, don't you think friend. Fix the price and I will fix my sight on that G.40 I like it.

No back straps (on a gun marketed as being customizable via back straps), no box, one mag, holster wear, and priced higher than the competition...
