Description

Used Gen 3 Glock 22 40 S&W Pistol

These are great looking Police trade-in guns. These guns show very little holster wear and are in great shape for being a used gun. Pistols come with one 15 rd high capicty magazine and night sights.

Some pistols will have a box, some will not.

GLOCK introduced the G22 .40 in 1990 and effectively closed the gap between the heavy .45 Auto, and the internationally proven 9x19. GLOCK was the first manufacturer to make this popular and effective round accessible for law enforcement agencies. Today, police agencies across the U.S., and countless others throughout the world, put their trust in this 15-round .40 caliber pistol.

This is a USED pistol.

You don't, it's a "Gamble", However, It IS a Glock. My Gen 3/22 has over 20,000 rounds through it, barrel is shot out, but still functions perfectly.

If I order one how do I know I’ll get one that looks brand new in a box versus one that’s been worn and stuff?

If the one pictured is an accurate representation, the pistol is in fair to good condition. There's clearly some finish worn from the slide, holster wear, scuffs on the poly... not exactly "very good" condition. That being said, it's still a good deal at $300.

40s&w, it's the worst handgun caliber around. I've never heard someone say "I really love my 40" Police forces like them cause they are easy to qualify with, most cops are not efficient enough to qualify with a 45.

I love all my 9mm, .40 cal, and .45 ACP guns, Prefer to carry 45 ACP or .40 though., for the extra punch .

sounds like your a .45 fanboy huh? "Nothing's better than my .45" because deep down your compensating for something, isntthat right, RICE_KRISPY?

.45 ACP punches with more kinetic energy than a 9mm or .40 cal, if you don’t agree, I couldn’t care less

But you don't. The reason police departments went to .40 has nothing to do with recoil or ease of qualification. That's your ignorance showing. the reason .40 is more desirable than .45 is due to the limited capacity of .45 while not having a ballistic advantage. In the 80's and early 90's, 9mm ammunition wasn't nearly as capable as it is today. The advancements in powder and projectiles has narrowed that gap significantly by now and that's why many departments are going to 9mm. The idea is to have as many rounds available as possible, so long as the rounds are sufficiently capable of stopping a threat. In the 90's, that was the .40, because the 10mm was prone to over penetration. Hence the .40 S&W, a 10mm short. Welcome to knowledge, I'm here all day.

The FBI went to .40S&W because a lot of their agents were having trouble qualifying with the 10mm AUTO. Now HISTORY IS REPEATING ITSELF AS THE FBI IS GOING TO 9MM BECAUSE ALOT OF THEIR AGENTS ARE YAVING TROUBLE QUALIFYING. INSTEAD OF FORCING THE AGENTS TO TRAIN TWO TO THREE TIMES A WEEK, THE FBI DOWNGRADES THEIR REQUIREMENTS BY GOING TO A LOWER RECOIL PISTOL (NOTE I DIDNT SAY LESS CAPABLE).
