GLOCK, Inc. introduces their first ever “Crossover” pistol, the GLOCK 19X, which combines the best features of two of its most popular and most trusted field-tested platforms. The full-size frame and the compact slide have joined forces to produce the ideal pistol for all conditions and all situations.
“The G19X was developed for the military and is a practical everyday pistol that will do what you need it to do, when you need it to; every time, in every condition,” says GLOCK VP Josh Dorsey. “The pistol was developed for the military using GLOCK’s combat proven experience with consideration to efficiency, dependability and durability. Through rigorous testing, the G19X stands out above the competition and has the ability to function in all situations with ultimate reliability and accuracy. Our goal was to meet the demanding needs of the military while maintaining our standard of perfection. With proven results, the G19X delivers maximum efficiency and trustworthiness.”
Confidence now comes in the coyote color with the first-ever factory colored slide. The nPVD slide coating of the GLOCK 19X prevents corrosion, resists chemicals, and stands up against the elements. Additional design features of the G19X include the GLOCK Marksman Barrel (GMB) with enhanced polygonal rifling and an improved barrel crown for increased accuracy, ambidextrous slide stop levers and no finger grooves for better versatility, and a lanyard loop for retention. The pistol includes a standard 17-round magazine and two 17+2-round extended magazines along with a coyote-colored pistol case.
The aggregate effect of all the G19X design enhancements gives any user the assurance to succeed and survive in all situations. A perfect “Crossover to Confidence”.

Held one at local gun store. Trigger was nice, and felt awesome in the hand. Didnt have $600+ to buy it though.
I actually would have preferred Glock to have offered this configured exactly as their MHS submission gun even with the weird safety. The novelty would have sold as many or more is my guess as most buyers of this gun likely have a stable of other Glocks already.
Of course countless people would have bitched about the safety I'm sure...
I do like that the grip doesn't have finger grooves or the half moon cut out on the front.
Also, this isn't really a deal price wise.
I need to shoot it in order to give my review.
Im starting to see how this lost out to SIG
But why not just buy a 19 and add magazine extensions? You would have the capabilities of this pistol when wanted and a concealable pistol when you don't. This thing makes zero sense.
Uuggggg. Just make the 10mm g48 1/2 already. Must fold in half though. Gotta conceal it somehow.
I just came to read the dumb comments where guys complain about this not being a conceal carry gun. It was never designed to be a conceal carry gun but the tards still show up to state the obvious. LOL
the g17 and g19 gen 2 + picatinny rail = DONE!
Ah yes, a g17 with a shorter slide, truly a firearm for a modern military man.
Which retard in sales actually pushed this into production?
Or you could buy a G19. Get some G17 mags, and Xgrip adapter. Then you can have the longer grip and extra capacity when you want it, but still can use the smaller mags for conceal carry when you want. Just an idea.
Here you go civies, our leftovers that they army didn't want, enjoy!
Make me a 26 with the 19's slide...call it the 26X!
Would be a good bedside/home defense gun.
I like it even though my wife asked why they made it puke color
Glock XX........How about a G26/43 slide on a G17 lower ? Or a G43 lower w/ a G17 slide. Let's play Dr FrankenGlock! Create FrankenGlocks in all the calibers!! It's alive!!!!!!!!!
They, uh, they know how concealed carry works, right? Surely, someone got the measurements backwards on the slide/barrel and grip.
From what I understand this gun was designed with the military in mind, who don't need to conceal their firearms typically. The longer grip allows for better hold, especially for larger handed commando types.
Yeah, but why not a G17? Never mind, its not my money.
This was never designed as a concealed carry gun. As if it wasn't obvious enough since it's basically the pistol that was submitted for the military trials, things like the +2 baseplate and lanyard loop should make that even more plain to see. Complaining that this is the opposite of what people who conceal really want in a pistol is like whining that a Humvee gets bad gas mileage.
you know what they say about guys with big hands right?
they got big Glocks!
