Yep! Your normal reply. Degradation of the poster instead of sticking to the facts. F'n moron. Google is your friend. And yes. The mod 4 was available many years ago. Not just a few months. Dumbass.

What happened to your three minutes genius? Did your mommy forget to tech you how to read your watch after you left the 8th grade?

Gen 4 was released years ago. The "summer gen 4's" did come out a few months ago though.

Ironic point you make there. Initial impressions don't wow the buyer and introduce a feature set seemingly forcing all to accept some basic customizations. The DLC is the most note-worthy change at least.

I can't help but wonder if a civilian "M-series" edition (Think Sig M11-A1) should have been launced first to see if all these changes are wanted and or needed. Yes, many people customize their Glocks, but not always in the same way. Thus far, Gen 5 feels like a new gen for new gen's sake. Apparently even Glock is unsure when perfection is achieved...

The discerning buyer remembers the orginal gen 4 release, subsequent issues and ultimately holds off six month to a year for most of the "bugs" to be worked out.

I'm not sure I'm bright enough to grasp this Gen 5 stuff. Gen 4 was just released months ago. Is Gen 5 about real needed improvements over Gen 4 or is it about Glock taking a huge hit when they didn't grab the contract with the U.S. Military?

Yea, you have that right. You are not very brightly. "At the 2010 SHOT Show, Glock presented the "fourth generation", now dubbed "Gen4" by Glock itself." Maybe you need to buy a calendar to find out what year it is...or maybe you need to stop smoking crack. Either way, you are just a moron who talks out of his ass who claims facts when it is bullshit.

Who is this silly looking clown wearing the silly assed kiddie helmet and looking like a reject from the Gong Show calling someone else names? Maybe this jackass ought to check to see when the G4s were fully available commercially rather than cherry picking stuff to make ignorant ass comments about. I swear these toothless Peckerwood, high school drop outs are geniuses.

The fact is major retailers, Academy, Bass Pro, Cabellas, Gander, etc. , were stocking Gen 3 inventory as late as September 2016. Gen 4s were still not fully in distribution and remained on back order. You can check for yourself or search for the advertisements in October 2016 clearing out Gen 3 inventories when the full line of Gen 4s was finally and actually in consumer supply channels.
