I had it in my cart at $386.44 and went to check the price of another item on there site and when I went back to the cart literally a minute later to check out the price had changed by $80 and some change?

I take the rear sites off these, you shoot faster more acuratelly if you dont worry about having to allign the sites.

Clicked on the link and the price in the ad has somehow jumped to $460. How?

I have 2, 3 and 4, They are all good. The 2 1/2 commonlly caled the 2, has the finger grooves, the 2's didn't. Since I don't use the extra backstraps, it's not really an issue. The only differences are in the recoil spring assembly and the trigger in the early ones, but shooting them is pretty much the same.

What about the Gen 3s do you guys like over the Gen 4s? I own only one Glock and it's a G23 Gen 4 and I love it.

Not a deal if it has to ship. If it was local then yes. By the time you put tax and transfer, you may as well buy local.

If you don't already own a g19 or g17.. I personally tend to like the gen 3 over the gen 4. I say this is a pretty decent deal on a proven battle/defense pistol imo. Even after a 20 to 30$ transfer fee and tax most of us would have to add to the total price.
