$900? and I thought the $700 increased price was ridiculous! I bought mine last year for $529 at my local gun store...

I paid $700 for mine a year ago. I love this gun. It's a smooth shooter and have have zero issues with it. My only complaint is the nib coating seems to wear easily. This is my edc. I have no issues with concealability, and I'mnot a big guy. There is a tactical advantage to having a longer grip and shorter slide. That must be why other companies are starting to follow suit. By no means am I a Glock fanboy. This will probably be the only Glock I will ever own. But I find it odd that most who bitch about this gun has probably never even held one, let alone fired one. My guess is that they don't want to admit that they just might be wrong.

There is hardly a tactical advantage for this setup (G19X/G45) over a glock 17 or a glock 19 (for a concealed carrier) when using a timer (I have all of the aforementioned pistols)

.002 second of a draw stroke difference still means not winning if the opponents gun is already drawn or the rounds are already in the air coming your way.

Any of the comments from 3 years ago are just that, 3 years behind and when it (19x) just came out.

No one currently posting here is bitc%ing about the pistol more-so than the market price of the pistol.

I paid $508 for mine (G19X) new in 2019. Over $1k now for the same pistol is excruciating.

I didn't mention draw as the advantage. Shorter slide means less reciprocal mass. Longer grip means more leverage to control the muzzle flip.

It's 01-22-21 and they want $700.99 for a gun that should cost $350. No, I take that back. I can't in good conscious rip off dumbs.com by getting this at such a steal. I'll wait until they want $1k for it then I won't feel so bad.

Good call. It is not $1,099. I guess it’s time to buy it. Lol

It went to this fake price of 1199 in the last day or so, at least what it's posted at here. It's showing $610 on the site though. I don't know who's posting this b/s but they need to be removed for the fakery.

I still don't understand why this exists

I can only assume Glock took a look at the US military's history of adopting somewhat inappropriate weapons and gear and designed a suitably inappropriate handgun for them.

It came in 2nd in the army contract for the new 9mm. S & W mod.2 was another loser

I will wait till these are Army trade ins.. Oops I forgot...

So now it's basically a FN FNS-9, just not as good, a 4" barrel on a long hi-cap grip that is a pain to conceal.

At least now you don't need to buy a metal guide rod, you just have to pay for it at time of purchase. Also haven't people been swapping 19 slides onto 17 frames for ages?

Thats easy, see, Glock needed more money, so they made this knowing the Glocktards would buy it sight unseen. When you have sheep that follow as blindly as Glocktards do, well, you see they are forking out almost $600 for some retread ass gun. Its sad.
