Girsan Regard has been the preferred side arm of the Turkish Military and law enforcement for many years and is a NATO approved sidearm. The Regard is so good, that the Vice President of EAA uses this pistol as his everyday carry. Think about it, a guy that has many pistols to choose from carries the Girsan Regard. Pretty solid looking knock off. Quality looks great with good reviews. This one goes on the "buy" list.
Only ships with one mag. Do you know if the Regard takes Beretta's mags?
It will run factory beretta mags fine, but it won't slide lock every time. Mecgar 92 mags will engage slide lock 100%. Installing a Beretta slide lock will make all 92 mags work, but you may need to do some minimal fitting.
FYI This is a clone of the 92F not the FS so not all 92fs parts will work. It also doesn't have the piece that would keep the slide secure in the event of a catastrophic failure and the slide went airborne. That aside it's a solid pistol.
Does it look like it has the dumb sig-type rail? Or a mil-std 1913?
