Ground zero precision uses the same style clamp on, ive had it on a 300blk 8.5 inch for 4 years and never had an issue.
It would be awesome is they made a 13.625" rail (extends just past a rifle length gas system).
Appreciate it. I’ll probably go with another Troy rail.
Haven’t used a clamp on rail. Any opinions on clamp on?
I’ve built 3 AR’s and used UTG Pro slim rails on all of them, which uses a proprietary barrel nut, with 6 cap screws that go into the sleeve under the barrel nut. Rugged system.
Has anyone used one of these? I’m building another 5.56 pistol and can’t decide on a rail...any reviews/opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Hand guard has a nice tight fit to the barrel nut and the coating is a deep flat black.
