The featured knife actually IS full-tang as well. It's a good knife for part of a survival kit. I own one and am getting a couple more to put in my vehicles.
Nice knife, but for $10 more I went full tang.
It's not $10 more, it is almost $20 more. After the "clip coupon" the Ultimate survival knife was $28.69 shipped. There is at least one video on YouTube that compares the two. Personally, I like the blade/handle size and larger pommel on the ultimate survival knife compared to the more expensive one.

Full tang is "nice" but you're not getting the additional features that was originally posted.
