Just got mine this afternoon. I don't think it's a counterfit. Great build quality. ACU sheath is a great match to all my other ACU stuff. Blade is made in USA, sheath is china.
The sheath is most def. made in china. Trust me when I tell you to find a way to permanently attach the strap that weaves through the webbing, on the snap clip end. You honestly don't need that strap to ever un-clip anyways.

One of the pictures shows the knife with a Gerber logo. Another shows it with some kind of symbol (Chinese?). Which one is it?
Just got mine in the mail. This thing is super sharp, so watch your fingers. You can literally use it to shave your face in the morning, like Crocodile Dundee. It's not a giant serial killer knife, so you wont freak out the people that you bump into, while hunting.
Bought this knife off Amazon, it's American made and substantial for forty bucks. Buy two of these and thank me later.

The sheath is not secure, and will come off your belt if it gets snagged on thick brush. If you have one, it's best to just use some JB weld on the snap clip, on the back, that holds the strap that runs through all of the webbing.
If you drop it in thick woods, you'll never find it because of the camouflage. I've gone back and traced my steps 3 times now....
I guess I have to buy a new one. The quality of the knife its-self is too hard to pass up at this price point.
