Is this the new version? I spoke with the owner of garasayar & he said they were making a gen 3 that allowed a vertical grip on the pump and it would be available to dealers at the end of august.

I ordered one on black Fri. Mine came with a 1913 rail molded into the pump handle as well as the 45 degree grip. I changed it out to a VG. Really liking this for the money. I haven't shot it much but it has been reliable so far with various loads.

Don't care for scatterguns period (and this after having run a upland bird hunting lodge).
But Nate, dude...solid response and I like the way it says 'no bullshit'.
Lots of other vendors could learn a thing or two here.

Just received mine on 7/9 after ordering on 7/6, extremely fast shipping. Can't wait to take it to the range the only negative I have so far is the trigger is fairly heavy, but it's a shotgun so oh well, other than that it feels very well built.

I bought this shotgun last month and here are my comments. For one, what you are seeing is an old picture. The gun comes with a standard pump grip, not the angled one you see here. If you want to change the grip you are going to have to talk to Garaysar directly. I have called Garaysar a few times and they do pick up. They are friendly and knowledgable and will take the time to talk to you. You get (2) two 5 round magazines but there are 10 round magazine available. You will need to purchase a front sight adjustment tool, the gun does not come with one. I bought one and the gun shoots spot on. You do get a hard cover case with the gun, not just a cardboard box, which is nice. You also get a set of chokes. As far as shooting the gun I'm still mixing my ammo to see what fires best. I had some trouble with Sellier & Bellot 12 Gauge Ammunition 2-3/4 00 Buck 12 Pellets. Some of the rounds got stuck in the breach. I don't know if its because its cheap ammo but I have another box to go through to test. I also had a little trouble with the Winchester Supreme Elite PDX1 12 Gauge 2 3/4 00 Buckshot 1oz. Slug. But I think I was "short shucking" the gun (it was the first time i fired the gun). So I'm going to chalk it up to user error. I do have another box to give it a chance. I like the ammo and I want it to work. It does eat up the Remington 12 Guage TAC 8 Pellet 00 Buckshot and the Federal 12 Gauge 2-3/4 00 Buck 9 Pellets with FliteControl with no problem. That was fun. Overall I'm having fun with it and I'm still breaking it in. Its easy to handle, fun to shoot and it has a nice kick. It looks nasty and the ergonomics are good. One more thing, the manual is USELESS. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to break down the gun on my own. But once I figured it out it was easy, I can do it with my eyes close now. Hope this helps.

Damn it looks nasty with that angled grip wish it came with it, definitely will have to follow through with contacting gary to get it!

funny thing about that grip. I did called garaysar about changing the grip because I liked that angle grip too. they said it was first shipped with an angled grip and then people started calling for a standard grip, so they changed it. Now people are calling for the angled grip. go figure. and you have to get the grip from garaysar because its not on a picatinny rail, its part of the front slide/rail. there are 2 pieces of the slide so the front one needs to be changed with the new grip. its not worth going to gunsmith to change it. but give them a call, they tell the story better.

ok, You got my attention! Very intrigued, will have to do some homework before I bust out the credit card and in turn end up sleeping on the couch for a few nights... lol.
Anyone know anything about these or own one? its a rare occurance for me to come across a firearm I have never heard of. Gonna do some research and watch reviews. Ive bought a handful of "tactical shotguns" over the years and almost all, except for my Saiga have been shit. Especially in the semi auto department. I realize this is pump and thats why I am considering. My biggest gripe about these type shotguns is the lack of high capacity mags. 5 rounds suck. It seems the only way to get more rounds on the past shotguns is to modify other manufacturer mags or "make" your own. Aftermarket support is all but non existent. So again we will see what I find.

alright Ive done some digging on these. Theres two models, the Fear109, shown here and also a Fear104, which is semi auto. The early issue with the 104 model is the AR style charging handle was reciprocating as the gun cycled and was flying back towards the shooters face. I dont know if thats been fixed.
Overall the pump version "109" seems to have decent reviews albiet very few.
The good news is apparently this shotgun will accept most aftermarket extended mags and the factory offers a 10 round mag as well. It cannot however use drum mags as they do not leave enough room for function.
The price varies alot too. Im seeing them in the $400 range but like alot of guns right now are "out of stock". I think personally I will try to buy one from gunbroker, even a used one is fine. I just wanna check it out.

Do you know if we can change the angular foregrip on the pump to a vertical grip like the ksg or the dp12?
