Foxtrot Mike Products is at it again with another 9mm AR pistol exclusively built for Primary Arms. For those wanting an even smaller and lighter pistol, this build features a short 7” barrel with a 1:10 twist rate. The FM Products blast diffuser extends past the 8.75” M-LOK handguard and directs all the excess gas and concussion of your shots forward instead of the sides, making this much more enjoyable to shoot at indoor ranges. The upper and lower receivers are machined from billet aluminum allowing for a greater degree of customizability for look and function. The magazine well and upper receiver feed ramps have been machined for use with Glock magazines, yet it is still compatible with standard AR-15 parts like a trigger, pistol grip, and safety selector. The integrated magazine release is much larger and easier to reach than the Mil-Spec alternative allowing for quicker magazine changes. This FM-9 features the popular forward mounted side charging handle that can be swapped to either side. Foxtrot Mike is building some of the most popular AR-9s on the market and Primary Arms is proud to offer them directly to you.
Features:
- Ambidextrous charging handle
- 7” barrel chambered in 9mm
- Billet upper and lower receiver
- Glock compatible magazine well, receiver, and bolt

- Mil-Spec AR-15 lower parts kit

Feature rich, high-quality, and affordable, Foxtrot Mike Products offer cutting edge solutions utilizing the highest quality materials and manufacturing processes available.
Manufacturers Note:For optimal reliability, FM Products does not recommend using aluminum case ammo in their uppers or complete firearms.

Picked one up the other day. Quality built, good weight to it. Charging handle doesnt feel cheap like I was told. Havent shot it yet since it doesnt come with any mags and I had to order some. That, plus no iron sights included either is a little bit of a downer, but it is a great deal considering...

That didn't age well.

As of today you can buy this but the notice is out that it is in fact an SBR now according to the rogue ATF and you will have to give it to the ATF, Destroy it, or register it as an NFA item with a $200 tax and BG check and donating of various body parts and DNA.... HOWEVER, starting today according to the letter you WILL NOT be allowed to register it as an NFA item for free (so you are on a registration DB for confiscation in the next few years) because the good faith option is now gone with the release of the letter. You would be a fool to buy this now. There is not a company selling these guns that is going to violate the court order to hand over their customer lists to the ATF and have themselves arrested to save your rear. They are not going to get shut down for refusing either.....

Lmao I bet you have a = sticker on your back window....... nothing is set in stone yet this might reverse back just like shouldering braces or might get hung up in court like bumpstocks. Stop being a sissy and buy it like your a true 2a supporter! If atf come knocking ask them if they have a warrant if not tell them get the F off your front step. I have plenty of respect for bumpstock owners because I dont remember any being turned in , but watch how many lil sheep go get free tax stamps you guys are the worst scared sheep all over the 2a community!

First off, I have no idea what the = bumper sticker you have on your back window is. As to the ATFE I don't recommend talking to them, They have been in my house before as they were raiding for explosives and had to still fukc off even though the P'sOS went through and cataloged all my guns. To be fair they told the local SO that called them that the explosives in my house and everything I had was perfectly legal and the bastards still charged me with a mill in fines and 20 years in jail and I still made the SO and courts go fukc themselves though it took 9 months of their threats and attempted deal making to understand I meant it.

Also I have said publicly I dont recommend ANYONE use the free SBR filing because it will set a bad precedence IMO and I think that is their hope. The more the get on board the more they can try to convince the courts that registering them as an SBR is a normal common thing. But to be fair, I think the braces are a bit gimmicky for me as the bumps stocks were but like them I told people NOT to comply, The ATF has no authority over them either and I told all of you FUDD's not to let it happen because of exactly shyt like this would follow soon after. To be completely honest I had thought about getting a suppressor but was set up with a braced 300 BLK when the SHUSH act was about to happen and the Vegas false flag came flying to the anti 2A morons rescue rather than pay for it. I have also thought about an actual SBR but still say that tax is illegal and unconstitutional as it the NFA, Hughes and every other act the NRA sponsored SO I have considered turning these into a couple of actual SBRS because its free and short timed. But I havent made that decision because I still say the who CGA is illegal and unconstitutional and need repealed..

I like it but only wish the charge handle was on the other side, I would buy it if it was, I do not know why they would redesign a gun and not put the charging handle on the left side

It is on the left

Charging handle is reversible. That being said, these might soon be nfa so don't buy until BATF comes out and says it's ok

I am not one to normally leave comments, especially negative ones, but I felt I needed to share on this one. Primary arms was great and shipped fast. Foxtrot Mike on the other hand dropped the ball in my opinion. Here's why.

-Burrs and bad machining marks they painted over that could of been easily fixed before they painted it.
- The rail has at least 1/16 clearance over the barrel nut, leading to an uncentered rail and muzzle device inside the rail.
- side charging handle has no way to remove slop. It's just plastic in a plastic hole that slants back when pulled on.
- Poor customer service. Took multiple emails to get a reply. And when I did, they never apologized for the mistakes and owned up to them. Instead they told me they would send me swag for my inconvenience. Which although welcome, was not the reason for me notifying them.

That being said. The rest of the carbine is really nice. It could have been a super nice gun had QC in there facility paid a little more attention. I would have been a happy customer with just a little better customer service and care.

Usually primary arms is pretty good to deal with but ordered one of these two weeks ago and it still hasn’t shipped! Why do they push things that aren’t in stock?

They spam this site overrunning email boxes with notifications, then after purchasing from them (twice) they provide terrible customer service. Just stop Primary Arms!

No probs with the order or shipping here. Ordered on Aug 28th, arrived at my FFL on Sept 4th.

My only question is one of ignorance, and that is what is the largest glock mag that'll sit flush with the bottom of the grip? Also, more ignorance on my part.... but would these be glock 17/19 mags?

Stay away from these guys. Ordered one and had NOTHING but customer service issues. Primary Arms should be out of business.

Got a firearm from them that was trashed in shipping recently. Return process has been a pain in the ass. They're not communicating with my FFL. Shame, heard their service was great.

Yeah that's pretty unheard of. Maybe because of covid? Even then shouldn't be a excuse. But hey sometimes gotta get a bad apple

Ordered 8/1, arrived 8/13. I am the FFL so no stops between.

The 7" gives you enough hand rail for all the handguards you might want. The 5" model leaves you short, i.e. if you mount it, the handguard sticks out in front of the rail, dorky.

Wish the had the side charger with a 5" barrel on sale. They have a 5" barrel on sale but its a standard charger.... Still may consider one. Anyone truly know shipping times right now?

Nice piece, hope whomever buys it can put more than 300rds through it without selling a kidney, lol. I'm dumping all but 2 9mms just to increase my caliber diversity. Good luck, all!

Have you received it yet? I’m thinking about placing an order today. Just curious to see how long I should expect to wait for it, and any overall review of it, if it has arrived.

Not loving how close to the muzzle the charging handle is on this.

Most of the time you probably won't be shooting the pistol at the same time you are charging the rifle.

I understand that. Just a thing with me about hands near the muzzle.
Plus I saw a review where the charging handle interfered with mounting a front flip up sight.

I have the 8.5" with the plastic side charging handle. It's annoying in two ways:
1. can't mount anything above the sliding slot which is about 4" of the front, almost half on my 8.75" handguard. You can however mount stuff off the 3 o'clock mlok openings if necessary.
2. plastic handle is too small an area for the stiff 308 buffer spring. Also fear long term durability but this is perceived, found no reports of them failing.
I have on order the metal paratrooper charging handle which i believe comes with a metal rod. Hopefully this improves the slide action and perceived durability. It looks thinner so may address mounting as well We'll see.

I haven't had an issue with the charging handle yet, but would be interested in knowing what you end up getting.

I got one earlier this year and emailed them about their paratrooper extended handle and bought directly from them and it was the best upgrade to this pistol so far.
