Description

Offering the Control Shield and our Muzzle Brake as a bundle. Order together and save. Offer not retroactive. You breach, shoot a few rounds and then can't hear feedback from your team because you're temporarily deaf from the concussion and blast noise from your muzzle device. The Fortis Control Shield was designed to push the noise forward for combative situations or even for simple range use, while the top ports keep the muzzle device flat on target. The patent pending quick detach system will be made available for other manufacturer's to use in conjunction with their muzzle devices. The new Fortis Muzzle Brake was inspired by the sharp lines of their brand. Like many of their products, the machining on this brake takes a lot longer than the competition. They take their time to create the very best products out there. Try the new muzzle brake once and you'll be glad you did. The performance is unmatched and muzzle rise is non-existent. Keep your speed and accuracy up. Put more down range and on target.. They sell many different styles on several website including eBay for less than half of this. Here's one of the many guns I have installed them on . This was built in 2006.

I have this, and the Strike Industries version. Both allow you to use whichever brake you choose (provided they will fit inside the diameter of the BFD), and both are well made. I'd say the Fortis is better machined, but I've had no issue with either.

NOTE: Don't plan on getting the benefit of whichever brake you use while the BFD is threaded on. The brakes are designed to vent gases at a certain angle or angles in such a way as to help mitigate recoil, hide the flash etc. When you fire with the BFD sleeve over the brake, it redirects the gasses so that they all go forward - thus, negating the intended function of the brake.

Handy devices; I use the BFD when shooting at indoor ranges & it does work well to keep that concussive wave from slapping you/shooters in the lanes next door.
