Bought it few months ago.
Great range shooting choice; very accurate and comfortable to shoot.
Put about 4k rounds through it.
It wasn't 100% issue-free - I've had several FTE.
Can't say if it was fun or ammo issue.
Otherwise have very positive feelings about the gun.

Yes doubling shipping price to cover loss of profit margin does sound odd and kind of shitty but honestly $20 shipping is still average for a handgun shipping fee. The company probably shouldn't have opened their mouth about doubling the fee to cover losses but hey at least they were being honest! Still all in all an excellent price on a great pistol! If this deal lasts a bit I'll be in for one.

I will say the FNS L 9,came with "tritium" night sites. They barely light up and were scratched like they were in a day of battle. Question ed station if they were switched for used, cant see them coming from factory QC like that. Europtic said sent to FN for rep for replacement, hope that won't be a nightmare.

I returned an FNS-40c to FNH in Sourh Carolina and had a new gun back in about 10 days. I was extremely pleased and my FFL was impressed too. Justmy experience.

This is an extremely underrated pistol (the FNH FNS). In all of its lengths and calibers, its been for me 100% reliable and way more accurate than I could ever be. I never did understand how people typically yawn when when they hear about FNH striker fired pistols. The two big down sides to these pistols are the price of the magzines, and FN customer serivice. Not fair to bring up here, but I have an FN 5.7x28 with a defective magazine latch that I’ve been waiting on a part for 3 months that they still haven’t sent. In my experience, their customer service has been aweful....

For the prices that these pistols typically have sold for (around 350-400; standard length models), you get three full capacity magazines and a large, quality carry case. One of the very good deals in the striker fired pistol world.

Did you order recently? And did receive a soft case or a hard case?

It comes with a hard carry case.

No. I did not order this pistol so what I says does not pertain to this. When I’ve purchased these pistols in past I’ve received them In rather nice, large plastic briefcase type cases (almost too big).Having said that, I can’t answer your question.

This pistols price was lowered to below the cost. We had to raise the shipping to help cover our costs on these. We are still loosing money on them at the end of the day, so anyone who is not willing to purchase one because the shipping is a little more is missing out on a deal I am sure they will not find anywhere else.

That’s a dick move though by doubling shipping “to help cover [your] costs”, because you supposedly priced it too low. It that’s accurate, try pricing it correctly and not scamming people for a little more $.

Totally agree. Don't call it shipping fee.... More like extra charges or fee.

We are just trying to offer the best price we can on these. Call the shipping charge what you like. We didnt hide the fact that it cost $20 for shipping, its listed in the same section as the price. If it makes you sleep any better just add the $20 to the total. I am still sure you wont find a better deal. This of course brings me back to the main point, if you are choosing to not purchase simply because it costs a little more for shipping than we generally charge, you are the one missing out.

Ordered it today over phone still $20 shipping for for 2 day overnight. Pretty common business practice. FFL transfer is only $10 SO, Still worth it for FN.
They are my favorite, started with FNX' s 9 40, 45...
Now have all FNS 9 & 40 models C, Reg & L. models, many mags. It's just cheaper to get guns. I'll wait for 509 tactical to come down in price, just like I waited for all of these closeouts.

When you ordered this, did it get shipped to your address? Or did you have to pick it up from your local gun shop? Sorry, I’m new to this lol.

They have to ship to someone with FFL license, doesn't have to be gun shop. It can be a pawn shop( they usually charge less).

I've got an FNS 9 that I overpaid for a long time ago, and it is fantastic. Every day I see this deal and its harder and harder to pass up. I do wish there was more aftermarket support of these guns though. Only one supplier of tbs, no magwells or extended mags or spring kits

Yes there are tf and k&d supply flared magwells and magazine extentions and there is after market recoil springs as well.

For the reason of doubling the shipping when they post the gun on sale. Is the only reason I am not buying this.

The FSN guns shipping is $19.99 not $9.99 like the other guns. Why?

So they lower the price but double/raise the shipping?

FNS might be a decent handgun but the magazines for it are atrociously expensive $45-$50+ per magazine.

Comes with 3. I’d ask who ever needs more than that but the preppers and mall ninjas will riot.

Lol. I consider myself "prepared" within reason although I have no bunker so I'm probably disqualified by the hardcores and I'd have to agree, it's a sidearm, 3 is plenty.

Lol....I have 20+ per Beretta I have and 12+ per HK.....an auto without good mags is just a fancy, heavy, expensive single shot.

I just bought a full size fns9 with night sights and 3 mags on gunbroker for $375... The low price on these high quality guns is unbeatable!!

The only thing that I don’t like about the FNS9 is the thinness if the barrel, the .40 caliber is beefier.

Great shooting gun. Pretty much shoots any type of ammo you put into it. This price is a great deal. If you haven't picked one up yet and are undecided, you definitely need to go grab one of these.
