Great pistol, I have 2 in black and stainless with night sights, I paid $400 a piece 4-5 years ago

I picked my FNS 40 at my local gun shop. Love the feel of it in my hand & with being a south paw the ambi controls are sweet!!! Great shooter for me so far without any issues.

Go to scopelist.com they have the same pistol in stainless or black with 3 14 round mags and nightsights for $349.00/with free shipping.

FYI EFK Firedragon offers conversion barrels for these. Just got my 40-9 conversion barrel and hoping to try it out this weekend.

I ordered mine when they were still advertising :"with night sights". I checked it over when I picked it up at my FFL, but since I've never owned a pistol with night sights, I didn't realize the sights on mine were not night sights. After I discovered I had plain sights, I wrote to SG and asked for a return authorization. They refused. These are not the sort of company I want to do business with. I have filed a dispute with AmEx since SG doesn't want to own up to their misrepresentation. I will never again in buy from SG.
BTW, I ordered another from ScopeList and am very happy with it and the transaction.

After pursuing the matter further with SG and disputing the charge through AMEX, SG authorized and arranged a return with a full refund. So, all is well. It was more hassle than it should have been, but it's settled.

...I opted to keep it since it was still a good price even with the mistake ad. They gave me a $10 gift card which was better than nothing. I would have ordered from scopelist had I known but I'm still happy with the one I got.

That's odd, as they offered me a return without restocking fee. The key is you have to refuse it at the FFL...once it's in your name, they can't accept it back. I opted to keep

It's not that they can't accept it back rather they won't accept it back. It requires is paperwork to transfer ownership back to them. I had a similar situation about a year ago with a gun and the vendor took it back after I "owned" it.

.......as long as I can find them for this price, I will continue to buy me one a month. Unbelievable value!

I don't own the FNS9 but own 4 FNS40's. this was my first 40 caliber pistol and I wasn't sure about the recoil. With a stream light TLR1HL on the front of it the recoil impulse is so soft that I shoot these better than any of my other striker fired pistols pistolsstrikerfiredhandguns

Ordered 2 more from SG on Thursday, shipped on Friday. Will be at my FFL Tuesday.

SG did update their website, mine was to be delivered tomorrow, but agreed to take it back in full with no restocking fees. I did find a stainless slide FNS-40 with night sights and 3 mags from scopelist.com for $349 and free shipping, they have the same deal on the black one at same price. SS Slide pn is 66943 which searches show night sights, the black is 66942, which again shows up as having night sights. so anyone who has canceled orders, check out scopelist.

Picked up that stainless. Thanks for the info. Also, Trips Defense also has black W/ NS for $329 and $20 ship.

...continued. They offered me a $10 SG gift card for the hassle. Better than nothing and worth the call IMO. $342 shipped is still a great price even without Night sights. Been wanting an FNS for awhile now.

I talked to SG's CS and explained that I had yet to pick up mine from the FFL (arrives today) but they couldn't confirm whether it had the night sights or not. I did not want to return, w/free ship it's still a decent deal.

Confirmed through SG that THEIR ad was a misprint and they would remove the bold red verbiage indicating "With Night Sights". Cancelled my order. Kinda sucks but oh well. SheiBe, thanks for your input. I have purchased well more than a dozen guns online and normally would agree. In this case, the 66922 number has the option of with or without NS AND there is another P/N 66915 that is the dedicated NS P/N. Either way, hope SG pulls that down to avoid any other customer issues.

This kinda sucks, but here's the deal...

When you buy a gun online, you need to look at the description, and then verify it by searching the manufacturer's part number and/or the UPC code. If you Google the UPC for this gun (UPC: 845737002893), you'll see that it comes with fixed 3-dot sights.

I did the screen shot. They responded to my email acting like they didn't know anything. I sent them that. Nothing yet. Should have just sucked it up and took the SOS deal for 17$ more and avoided what is shaping up to feel like a bait and switch.
We'll see. Giving the benefit of the doubt for now.

Will be majorly bummed if mine does not come with the night sights. It's still a good deal though. Not sure if their CS will do anything about it or not. I should have screen shot the product page at purchase.

I have one that is to arrive at the FFL today from SG. SG's product page clearly stated Trijicon 3 Dot Night Sights when I purchased it last Wednesday. I just checked and they must have updated it.

The ONLY reason I won't buy this gun now is that I already have one. This deal is bananas.

Just picked mine up from the FFL today. Gun was as advertised and only took 2 days to get to the FFL. Free shipping, only charged $10 for firearms fee at SG. Great shopping process with SG as usual. BTW my gun had standard 3 dot sights and NO manual safety(just the way I like it)

Standard 3 dot white or standard 3 dot trijicon night sights as advertised?

SG page says 3-dot fixed sights. Bummer.

EDIT* A reviewer on SG says it did NOT come with night sights.

At the top of the product page though it says WITH nights.

No it doesn't. This ad here erroneously said Trijicon night sights. SG's description clearly says 3-dot.

At the top, in bold red ".40 cal punch, sweet ergonomics, and night sights!
NEW! FNH-USA FNS-40, Semi-Automatic, .40 Smith & Wesson, 4" Barrel, 14+1 Rounds"

Yeah I saw it last night. Sucks for whomever thinks they're getting Trijicon sights.

EDIT *

Still says it: ".40 cal punch, sweet ergonomics, and night sights!"

I'll take one. SH code not valid for processing fee / not required for free shipping. Deal is live. Review on product page says that at least one buyer received a standard 3 dot model. PDF printed the SG page for backup in case I need to dispute the charges for advertising and get out from under that restocking fee.

To good of a deal to pass up. I have 3 9mm and 2 40 S&W. I want to get a 3rd 40 but SG web sight won't except my FFL. Out of group.
