Was in Palm Beach shoot straight and there was a table with 10 of these there for $349 with two mags. Why only two mags, I thought they ship with three. Didnt care i was there for something else, but thought i would post for any potential buyers.

Picked up one in Davie and it came with three mags.

There was a sign on the table that it comes with two high capacity magazines. I didnt really get into it with anyone working there.

Over $50 in shipping?! They're just trying to cash in on the recent FNS40 discounts other companies are running (I missed out on PSA's deal at $320+$17 shipping. Even bad ol' CTD had them for $360 after shipping!). Add on top of that the extensive state restrictions (with obligatory misspelling...) and lack of detail in their description (it should come with 3 mags, but they don't state that), and I'm unimpressed by this company and price. If they could meet PSA's price (even without the night sights), I'd give them a chance. As it stands, I'll wait for another good deal as FN unloads a supposed backstock of 40's that law enforcement is shying away from.

Why IL? I bought more than 10 guns on line with 0 issues. I know crock Co got a mag limit . Why punish the rest of the state?

Because of all the crazy laws in Illinois. I should know , I went to jail there for having my legal firearm , in my legal automobile , with a concealed carry permit from my state.I had never been in trouble with the law for anything and they tried to pin a felony on me for it being loaded. Just a suggestion MOVE.

Fantastic price on a fantastic handgun. You'd be a fool not to buy one of these at this price. Excellent all round from a reputable manufacturer. This work and feel more like $500+ weapons.

Why is this? I have noticed prices drops significantly on .40 SW. I bought this gun from CTD on sale in stainless. This is my first .40 S&W and would not have bought if over $350.00

Because the .40 cal was the standard issue firearms for most Police departments. They were heavily produced for just that reason. Now police , military and other branches of the government are looking and taking up different calibers such as the 9mm , and the 45 ACP. There by creating a warehouse full of firearms that not as many government agencies will purchase. What good is a product other than taking up space , you are having a hard time selling.

Makes sense. I will pick my $350.00 FNS on Saturday. If I had the money I would buy two. I had the 9mm and sold it and have regretted it ever since. My 9mm did not have a manual safety and that was my only complaint. My new .40 cal has a manual safety. I feel sorry for folks that pass up on this really outstanding handgun.

I let my 17 year old son shoot it right after shooting my Ruger SR9c and the first thing he said was "Wow, for a 40 that doesn't have any more recoil then the 9mm!" Given the 9mm is a compact, but the FNS 40 is really the smoothest shooting 40 cal I've ever handled.

In no way sir, I appreciate the good range report, and thank you for posting, I appreciate the hand guns you have bought and shared with your son. Will get my FNS 40 next week and will post a range report. Not being sarcastic at all, I think your son has one smart old man. Best wishes

Well thank you Sir, I appreciate the complement. I also own a Ruger LCP, SR22 and 1st gen Walther P99 with a 2nd gen trigger. I can't see myself parting with any of these firearms. My FNS 40 is in the stainless finish as is my SR and I chose the manual safety as my SR9c I use for concealed carry has one. Wanted to keep the training consistency. I owned a 4th gen Glock 23 but never really like it so I sold it to by the FN and haven't regretted it one bit. All the best to you as well.
