Solid deal these days. They only get more expensive.

Bought an IWI Galil Ace 308 for $999.00. I know this is a great rifle but not $2000.00 more than an IWI. Just my opinion.

Baddest of the bad. Love mine. Have a US Optics SR8c on top for fun at any distance.

You can hold it out with one hand and fire. Very little recoil. Tons of muzzle blast though.

Totally late to seeing this comment thread, but this PRIVATE company has the right to sell to whom ever they want for whatever they want. You stupid jackasses forget, constitution has nothing to do with a private company. They also have freedoms. Freedoms that have nothing to do with you jackasses. And if a private company sees that they want to reward those that risk their life for you tards, then great. So you pathetic cry babies can go back to your douchey office jobs and slap it while you cry

Isn't this more or less the usual price?

F u and your no sale to Law abiding citizens. You see the thumb rating?. do you see we don't like this bullshit? Post this crap elsewhere lame.

Lame because you didn't join the military or become a police officer? Why shouldn't those folks get a firearm at a reduced rate? This has nothing to do with High Plains. Glock, S&W etc...all offer discounts to Military & LE.

Ur a troll, Why should they get battle rifles cheaper than citizens ?

You're right and lets get rid of the senior discounts too!

Agree with you. nothing against our Military or Law Enforcement people . they do a outstanding job. but we live in America and we have Freedoms and our Constitution. everyone should be treated the same . Race, Religion, Gender , and this is protected in the constitution. this company is discriminating against law abiding Americans by not offering the sale of this rifle to everyone. if you want to buy it and if there is no restrictions in your state to own a rifle like this you should be able to buy it .

Obviously you guys are retarded, its FN that has certain serial numbers for LE only, not High Plains. Do some homework before posting your ignorance.

^^^...sucknPork.. Post up an equal FN Scar price for citizens then...

Get a job that qualifies you for the discount or pays you enough so you can buy at the regular price, citizen.

I hope you are trolling/imitating an imperial storm trooper, because that's a disgusting attitude. Are you admitting you aren't an American citizen, are you admitting you have contempt for those of us who are? Do you realize you are hugely outnumbered, at the end of the day you still have to live amongst us "citizens" and you depend on our economy and businesses to feed your family?

What has happened to America?

Besides all of that, there is a section for CA legal, so why not LE/MIL only deals? Would you like to see state specific deals crop up, the deal excludes the majority of people here.

I wish Slick guns would make a section for LE/MIL only deals, there's room up at the top of the page. It's annoying seeing them, I could get it on duty gear that every officer uses but a .308 battle rifle???

What dept has a need for this, seriously can anyone answer me?

Departments in Alaska.

Well I'll give you a half point for that, unless they are giving polar bears speeding tickets now.

At any rate I'd still like to see a LE/MIL section just like the CA section.

I purchased one of the four available SCAR 17s that this vendor had available. The unit has shipped and I am awaiting delivery. So far, the dealer has very prompt about getting the item sent as soon as my FFL information was available to the seller. I will post again once I have received the item.

I have received my SCAR 17S. Shipped within 24 hours and arrived in pristine condition. Lanbo's Armory sold this unit at a terrific price and purchasing online was simple. I would not hesitate to purchase from them again.

I have not taken this gun to the range and I cannot wait. Hopefully I can find an indoor range that lets me shoot a .308.
