10 minutes after the deal is posted in Slick.guns the site says it is out of stock. Is this a joke???

As of 14:30 CST 6/10/2016 Out of stock.

As Maxwell Smart would say: "missed it by that much..." Doh! Great deal :p

Nice. I just grabbed a second one for $336 out the door. The magazines are far better constructed than Glock mags yet weigh only negligibly more. I would put their value at $35 alone. So for 3 mags that is a $105 value, plus a $100 value for night sights. It is like getting an FNH pistol for $130.

Buying a gun with the intentions of selling shortly after just to profit is ILLEGAL unless you are an FFL. That is what is known as a straw purchase. Be careful

Hahaha. Thank god as I literally pulled over in parking lot as I decided what the hell and its out of stock... Made decision easy I guess as didn't need this anyway and need a new CC so something smaller than this

They're killing me with this. I was debating at $360, at $320 it's pretty irresistible.

edit: dammit! waited too long.

They have the stainless model at 359...maybe it will drop to 319 too.

I bought one. No issues. Ran 100 rounds of brass cased ball ammo. Kinda love it. Hated .40 s&w before. No "whip" recoil. Zero regrets. May buy another so I have 6x mags for the first one.

Although I was happy with my purchase of this weapon be aware that the night sights included with this weapon are NOT TRIJICONS as shown in the picture. They are basic FN factory night sights. Truthfully they sucks compared to trijicons and kinda felt cheated by this bait and switch. Everything else I was happy with though. Just be aware. ...

http://bearingarms.com/bob-o/2016/03/04/baltimore-county-police-stunned-accidential-discharge-new-pistol/...

It looks like there "might" be a issue with some of these pistols. Honestly, no one knows at this time. So just factor that in. This deal is almost to good to be true.

The good news is FNH has a good track record when it comes to safety & customer service. :)

Crazy b/c I am/was doing the same thing. This deal made me have to put a hold on the purchase of a buddies Mak90 Sporter AK.Im personally a glock fan & every time I buy a striker fired gun I think to myself did I really need this.I have to say that we can never have enough guns & this particular purchase is why.Its trigger has a wide rounded feel that I haven't felt before. It has a bit of uptake but it brakes very crisp & clean w/ a real nice distinct/short reset. So anyway my point is GET BOTH!LOL

Actually I disagree.I would jump on this before it is gone.I have sat on far too many deals & they have since vanished in the wind while I was a dumb ass & didn't just get it done.
Yes this deal has been up for a while now but I don't see this price being any cheaper & what if this is the last of a batch they purchased. You never know.I have mine in my hand right now & I feel way better with the sure thing than the gamble.I could be wrong but I just don't see how a gun of this quality with 3 mags & nigt sights will hold at this price.Crazy good deal & mine was shooting bullet on top of bullet from a rest.

Thank you for your input Sir. I am a fan of FNS, how could you not be after everything they do for our troops. I guess you are right but I am trying to save for an AK. I guess if there is any weapon to own before the election, it would be an AK or AR.

This is a great deal for anyone who is in the market for a .40 S&W but I see no reason to rush... It has been this price for quite a while. Unless they offer free shipping, it can wait.

Bought two, sold one for a $160 profit the next day! So mine actually cost me $200 when it's said and done. Great deal, great weapon!

I apologize if this is a repost but this is also eligible for FN's 'Free Gear' promotion. It's just a free pistol bag, but still, it's free.

Wow, awesome deal and too good to pass up. In for one. My friend has one and it is an excellent firearm. I've ordered quite a few times from PSA and have had good experiences.

I ordered on a Friday evening and picked up at my FFL on Wednesday morning. Fast enough shipping for me. They did charge sales tax for GA residents.... Still under 400$ shipped and transferred

I am not sure where all the bad press is coming from. I have both the fnx and FNS 40 versions and love them. I also referred a number of my friends to this deal and a similar deal for the fnx from another site. Everyone I know raves about them. Great fun and company in my opinion. I also have an FN shotgun with 2k rounds through it without issue. now if I could just justify the cost of a scar my collection would be complete:). On a side note you can't beat this price as they come with 3 mags as well!!! Heck I have the bi tone versions so have been trying to talk myself into another as I love this all black version.

You know your experience is just about all I have ever read about this gun.It was in my cart & I was stopped in my tracks when I read the review your talking about.I appreciate any input good or bad from a fellow gun enthusiast. All that said I did end up ordering anyway. The main reason was that I found his exact copy & pasted review on a site selling the gun somewhere else.It was just odd.It reminded me of the FN5.7 post of the guy blowing up his gun.It freaked out the whole internet & is still everywhere.I understand that some companies have lemons & in my opinion that may be what happened to the department. It still bothers me but for this price I had to take the calculated risk based on the overwhelming positive reviews all over the place.

I purchased this exact gun from PSA at this price and here is what I have to say:

PSA shipped (UPS) it within 4 hours of my order and it arrived at the FFL I selected in 2 dayspackaged well in a cardboard box with the pistol inside the FN hardshell case. The gun has a minute amount of wear visible on the top of the barrel that shows when the slide is forward, this was expected since I called PSA and the rep told me they had been fired as some sort of demo and other than that it is factory new with full warranty from FN.

Other than the tiny amount of wear on the top of the barrel there is were no other blemishes on the frame or slide, everything else looks factory new. The pistol is packaged in its original case with three magazines, the empty shell from test fire, the cable lock and key, manuals, and extra backstrap. I took the gun home and gave it a good cleaning which after the cleaning it did not need.

Took the gun out to shoot the same day and put 100 rounds through it with no failure to feed or failure to extract or any other malfunction. Took it home and cleaned it again and have put roughly 500 more rounds through it never having any issues or malfunctions at anytime.

All of these rounds fired through it have been a mix of Winchester white box 165gr FMJ, CCI Blazer Brass 180gr FMJ, PMC Bronze 165gr FMJ, Winchester PDX1 JHP, and Hornady Critical Defense JHP.

This is my first experience with Palmetto and it was fantastic. As for the gun I have seen none of the issues mentioned by jiggysmb about his department seeing malfunctions. The gun is the non manual safety, night sights model.

Couldn't be happier with my purchase.

This is the best deal in the country on a striker fired pistol as long as they last. FN guns are excellent all the way around.
This is a GREAT BUY.

Anything sold out of state you live in will tax. Pretty soon everything will be taxed online. Google all the larger Ecommerce sites fighting this currently. I live in TX and face same problem. Great ready as its coming..

Perhaps you could provide more constructive reviews of a company. Such as "My experience with PSA has been terrible blah blah blah..." Instead of "This is a terrible company, they will do this to you..."

My experience with them as been above average.

My one experience was they were slow to ship and didn't provide status updates. That said, I did finally get my gun at a very good price. My opinion is I would spend a few more bucks (not many because I'm cheap) to have a quicker shipment and better communication.

Can anyone tell me why PSA charges GA residents sales tax, considering they have no store locations in Georgia?

Found this on another thread: Palmetto State Armory is always looking to further our ability to service customers. While we are not ready to announce anything official, we do have a physical presence in Georgia and must comply with state law. While this may be an inconvenience, we feel that this will better serve our Georgia customers in the long run.

Basically, GA is requiring them to collect the minimum tax amount because they have a nexus (office, warehouse, storefront, or some other tangible connection).

Also, GA requires collection of sales tax on the following:
-enters into an agreement with one or more persons who are Georgia residents under which the resident(s), for a commission or other consideration, based on completed sales, directly or indirectly refers potential customers (whether by a link on an Internet website, an in-person oral presentation, telemarketing, or otherwise) to the person, if the cumulative gross receipts from sales by the person to customers in Georgia who are referred to the person by all residents with this type of an agreement with the person is more than $50,000 during the preceding 12 months.

palmetto state armory is a terrible company to do busyness with P.s. they take forever to ship your product. today i will be putting a stop payment on them.

I ordered from them and, yes, they took way too long to ship and communication was poor. In their defence, their price was beyond excellent and the gun did arrive. I would pay slightly more to do business with someone else but not too much more (I'm cheap).

Palmetto state had some issues years ago, i have conducted business with them for almost 4 years running with 6-10 orders per year, and only one issue. Sent me wrong order of three charging handles when i ordered one BCG, said keep the Charging handles, and sent the BCG out the next day.

I ordered mine last night, it shipped this morning. I've ordered 2 uppers from them over the last 6 months they both shipped next day. I think their shipping delays are a thing of the past. And you won't find better prices at the quality that palmetto offers.

Our department obtained FNS 40 mid-frames about a year ago. Since getting the guns they've had severe malfunction problems. We reported them to FNH and the company blamed it on magazines. New magazines replacements were sent, but the problems continued. A rep came out form Arizona and brought new barrels and changed every gun, but the problems continued. No FNH wants to blame our ammo. During the last qualification 28 weapons were put through a 60 round course of fire. Using 50 rounds of Speer "Gold Dot" hollow point and 10 rounds of Ultra Max full metal jackets 25 guns malfunctioned (video documented). During the test a Glock 22, a H&K 40 cal, a Sig Sauer 40 cal, and a Berreta were put through the same qualification using the same ammunition and none of these weapons malfunctioned. Do not buy this weapon for any reason especially the LE versions. After researching many other agencies have reported severe malfunctions and officer safety issues with the weapon, with the Long slide and the Mid-frame FNS 40's. Customer service reps are trying to cover up and I'm still trying to find out if they have discontinued making the Long Slide version, and GT Distributors won't make any comments and have stopped pushing the line of FNS handguns.

I bought one. I have since put over a 1000 rounds thru the pistol and not a single malfunction of any kind. I own and love them all. FNH, Glock, Sig, SW MP, Canik etc etc. For the price, its one of the best guns I have ever bought.
just an FYI
