Bought one of these as a Christmas present for a friend last year. Paid $80 from Cabela's but haven't seen them under $100 anywhere since. Works really well. This particular model is one of the best at the price.

Have to concur. One thing most folks are unaware of is that legit Gen1 NV does have actual light amplification [tho' an order of magnitude below Gen 2 or 3...] while the "digital NV" that's in the same price range of the Gen1 analog units has zero amplification: they're just IR sensitive, and you *must* have an IR illuminator [sesquipedalian euphemism for "spotlight"] to see *anything* w/ digital NV... But the digital can be smaller and have longer battery times, and clearer screen display for those who can't deal w/ the "green fog" of Gen1 analog units. ;-)
