What's with all the lucky scammer posts? How soon people forget that they gouged shooters to no end last year. You don't see CTD posts here and these guys are no different. I wouldn't give them a dime especially when there are so many other retailers to support who kept their prices in line when supply was short.
NOT a good deal. This ammo should not be more than $.40 a round at most. I paid less than this for 62 grain XM855 in a ammo can only a couple months ago.
Here's the same ammo, on strippers but no can for $0.389 per round, delivered. The free shipping sale goes through midnight today. At that price difference you're paying over $25 for the can, which isn't worth it. 450 rounds for $174.99 delivered.

why all the thumbs down? this is a good price for military ammo in a 30 cal can with shipping included---am I missing something? is this a bad retailer or peeps had bad experiences with this retailer?
People just see the $0.45/rd & say "SUCKS!" & thumbs down. This includes shipping so the price per round is more like $0.40-.41/rd. For this ammo on stripper clips the only place cheaper I heard is at WalMart in the South & Midwest. At mine it's still $199 a can. I've ordered from this site before during the panic & they shipped fast & had no issues.
That said, there are cheaper options out there. Right now Selway Armory has PPU 5.56 M193 for $339/1000 rounds & shipping is around $17.
I am in AR and at Wally W. they have military ammo in can for $200-ish but you still have to pay tax on it. American Eagle in black box is $7.37 a box plus tax makes it $39.78 per 100 with no box. The same ammo listed on this post is $240/can at my LGS plus .08 tax.
Those cheap ammo prices are gone, people need to realize it won't get better! it is NOT going to come down in price, too much demand, too many new shooters out there, and they are going to do everything they can to ban lead ammo--CA already has !

$10 less than Lucky Gunner. Find a better retailer OP.
