Not the greatest deal but I had to use the gift card so I grabbed 4 boxes for my MP22, let see how it shoots. It sucks that Marylander has to pay tax now.

Looks like will not be buying from them unless it’s a super deal.

Not the greatest deal? Where in the world are you buying it for less than $.04/rd?

@grumpy: nice! I shot the auto match before and it ran fine. Good to know that you had luck with them. I will give them a shot!

That's what I'm using them in, my M&P .22 Compact eats most anything! Seems to like these especially!

Lowest price on good quality ammo ive found anywhere!
Look for a cabelas giftcard discounted on eBay from svm giftcards, or sometimes on samsung pay for 20% off.. this will make this deal even sweeter

"Get FREE Gear!

Spend $150.00 and receive an exclusive Armageddon Gear Ammo Bag.
Spend $225 and receive an exclusive Grunt Style T-shirt and Armageddon Gear Ammo Bag"

See that guys? The free shirt TOTALLY makes ups for the ammo being over priced, out of stock, or order canceled because they "sold too much"!!!

Except cabellas gift cards can be had 13-14 percent under value. 18 percent if you wait for a deal. So, after buying gift cards I ended up getting 4 boxes of these which came out to less than 4 cents a round plus a free tshirt. The walmart ones are not 4 cents a round after tax and most of the time they are sold out around here.

I'm glad it worked out for you but in my area even with gift card discounts, after their mark ups and sales tax, usually wal-mart or academy is the better buy.

Yep, all our Walmart stores have been sitting on cases of these for weeks. I believe this is just a few dollars above where they were priced pre panic

Finally starting to see these (Fed 525 packs) again, where have they been hiding...

Old men would wait in line at stores and buy them all while you and I were at work, they finally gave up, or died.

Order online, walk into the store, cancel the back order while you're holding the item. Use a GC from a reseller to make it worth your time to go down there.

Check you local wally word, ours has been stocked with the fed 550 for $20.92

I bought this same product back in 2010 for $17.99 plus tax!
Before I ramble endlessly about the good old days, let me yell at some kids playing in my lawn....

So I ordered the Federal 1,625 rounds 22LR Cabelas had for the Thanksgiving/Black Friday sale. I ordered Thursday. They continued to advertise the special all day the next day. Several days later, they cancel my order. I call, and they say that they oversold them and that their website inventory is not "real time" WTF? Then, they have the individual packs of 325 rds available, but won't make good by giving me these at the price I ordered them for. I buy a lot of ammo and a fair amount of guns, and I am officially done with these overpriced bastards.

I feel your pain!
They just sent me a update that my order is on backorder til February 24, 2018. You gotta be kidding me, Is this company trying to put Themselves out of business?

$22.99 @ Academy today (just ordered 2) - they usually have this product available at least once a week (monitor site "Academy Sports rimfire ammo") - had pretty good performance w/this particular bulk ammo...YMMV. Ya'll have some happy holidays!

Not sold out. But, "17WINTER" doesn't work for me. If I put a .22 round between each toe, shouldn't this be considered "footwear"?

Seems 22LR shortage is slowing down a bit, last week saw Remington 525 bulk packs in stock from Cabela's too. With this one finally got two boxes of bulk ammo and can plan a nice weekend trip to the range.

You can pick up the 550 packs of Federal at WM for about $19. So it depends on how much value you assign that ammo can if it is a deal or not.

Fair price compared to Wal-Mart.....IF your going to spend $99 to get the $5 shipping. You'll need to buy 7 boxes to get $5 shipping. Or pay tax if you have a Cabelas in your state. Around here local gun shops/ sporting goods stores often have this at $14.99 a box and $12.99 earlier this year! This looks to be the best deal online right now though.

I just tried this with code and all, it stated that I did not order enough to get the discount.

make sure you are using code "7FREE" and not "4FREE" First is for free shipping over $50, second is over $150.

Why is the steel ammo can better? I'm just curious because I have neither, but I would like to get on this deal.
