Yup, I did that a few days ago and made out great! On top of Cabela's offering a 5% Military discount too, made my final price about 15 cents a round for .223 after rebate! Killer deal...

What Shojus said. Here's my trick

Got to TopCashBack and get a link to get cash back from Raise (to buy cabelas discounted gift cards). After purchasing cabelas discounted gift cards (usually around 13%) on raise then i go to activejunky.com and get a link to Cabelas and get 7% cash back through Raise (2% on ammo and guns, as the others have suggested on this thread).

You'll get cash back put into your paypal account. And then you just use up all the gift cards you purchased.

This deal was 13.6% off because of gift cards
2% off because of active junky link (might be 4% today, can't remember)
2% off because of topcashback link
$15 off because Raise is having a sale on all gift cards today. Use code "Cyber"

Use my link if it was helpful to you.

Took me about a half hour to order, but i don't get paid that good at work so i figured it was worth my time. Now that i've done a few times, i can do it relatively quickly.

I should write a book.

And I thought I was good at deals. I did pay with a credit card giving 3% back too.

Awesome! Exactly what I did, except I used Mr. Rebates to buy through Raise, as it's 5% cashback vs. 4% at TopCashBack, and I am a Military Veteran so I saved an additional 5% off of Cabela's. Deal of the YEAR for sure! Just cross your fingers on that rebate, but I have always received mine in the past.

Cabela's is actually the cheapest place to get this. I'm surprised too.

for the 223, there is a $20 hazmat charge...why

They claim because it's packaged in "bulk", which is BS! I contacted them through Twitter, cause I wasn't getting anywhere with their customer service number, and I was sent a $20 gift card for the fee I was charged. So you can get it back, just a pain in the ass is all...

Read the fine print, ammunition is only given 1-3% cashback...

Cabela's does not have to give anything back. You are upset that someone is offer money back on already the best deal around? Still 3% back for something you were going to buy anyway.

I'm not upset at all, I was just stating that it's NOT 7-12% cash back as stated in the post. Relax...

Sorry then. Please accept my apology then.

I use Rakuten. AS of the message they are offering 3% on ammo. I agree not a lot, but a few extra bucks in your packet and not someones is always a good thing.
