Look at all the comments from 8 years ago. This is why you buy early and buy often. I must have 300,000 rounds and just bought 10k more. It is the internet!
This would have been a solid deal if sales tax wasn't included. F the IRS.
The tax isn't from the IRS, it if collected for the state you live in. All online retailers are required to collect sales for the states they ship to.
Thumbs downer must be employed by the IRS.

Update - I got my 4000 rounds of this in after about a four month wait. It was worth the wait, considering each box is worth $150-200 more now than what I paid for it.
I even got a personally signed letter from one of the Brownells executives thanking me for my patience and business. If you haven't got yours yet, hold out because it's worth the wait. Thanks to Brownells for being so professional about the backorder. Will purchase from them again no doubt.

My order has been on Backorder for over 2 months. I'm considering just canceling it at this point as I could have bought this ammo from other places for just a little more since then. Not very happy with Brownells...
I'm not trying to defend Brownells, but when you receive your backordered ammo, you will be real happy after you check prices elsewhere. I can easily see this case selling for over $400 by the end of the year.
Agreed. That's really the only thing keeping me waiting here. I called Brownells today and they said they're trickling in every two weeks about 10k+ at a time... If that's true it could be another month or more until I get mine. I have 4,000 on order from them so it kind of sucks having to keep that $1,100 sitting in my account waiting to be withdrawn.
Edit: They said I was roughly 100th in line and they have over 700 customers total currently waiting for these on backorder.
I back ordered the M193 last night for $269 per 1,000 from Brownells and they accepted the order with discount code DFM. Also order 2 cases of M855 which they shipped out today.

This must be the best deal I have seen in the last year or so on this ammo. I purchased 3 cases (3000 rounds total) for $822.92 shipped. Price after coupon is $269.99 and the shipping is a Flat Rate of $12.95 no matter how much ammo you order, so pretty much the more ammo you order, the cheaper it gets per case.
