Glad I bought b4 so I don’t have to deal with this rip off bull shit.

Holy fk! First time browsing since pre pandemic. Anyone else go full neck beard when Walmart pushed out all the pistol and black rifle ammo? Sure glad I overdid it

I still have a shitload of Perfecta 9mm, 45, and .223 ammo from Walmart. I have been finding a few deals for guns and ammo since the start of the Chinese Virus, but they are rare and none on gundeals.

When are we going to get "normal" ammo back. We cant keep blaming Covid for everything. People are back to work. Why are gun owners still being gouged or offered some less popular caliber. Maybe its the employees of companies like PSA who get first crack at new shipments, and the customer has to take whats left over. I just feel that the same machines exist that made them before Covid, and people are back to work. So why are prices still so high ?

Aside from demand still being high due to riots an the usual election bump, there are issues sourcing material, and the big boys aren't investing in manufacturing fearing another post election slump. Until people stop buying it as fast as it's being made, at whatever price lets them get their hands on it, don't expect prices to drop, and this likely could extend past November.

Well put. I’ve been extremely frugal as of late, only buying attachments. Hopefully others are doing the same.

Can these be used on a regular AR magazine? Not sure how they work.

Yes. Gi mags and p mags, not sure about the rest.
I think they would work for most mags. You will need the stripper clip tool to use these though. Check ebay for clips and tool

If any of you are lucky enough to live near a PSA retail location Academy sports will price match plus 5% off. Academy also occasionally gives $20 off 100 coupons. I got the 62 grain version of this for 22 cents per round doing the above and paying with discounted gift cards off Raise.

Good deal on stripper clips @ $.27/rd.

Ugh thats .72 cents a round.

Thumbs up as an "add on item". PSA shipping sometimes will ruin the cost per round, but on several occasions, I have an order with say for example, $12 in shipping so I add on ammo and the total shipping on the order only goes up a few bucks depending on how much.

Plus, as stated below, the stripper clips are cool. But for me, they are only cool the first time. I'm not one to waste time putting new rounds on the clips, but you can perhaps sell them to someone that does.

Exactly, I bought two P938 mags and added the 150 round box of m193 at .30 a round. Raised shipping price from $8.50 to $12.00.

I'll just come out and say it, for certain things PSA has the best deals in the entire game by far and away. The SAS P938's for $499, VZ2008's for $379, Ruger 10/22's for $179, and I just picked up P938 7 round mags for $24. No one even comes close to many of their offerings on M193 and M855 on a consistent basis. I've built 2 AR carbines and an AR pistol from them. Each for under $500 and all of them a great value. Definitely a little rough, but for under $500 you can't expect more.Shipping is slow. It's worth checking out their website frequently.

If the stripper clips are worth about $0.50 a piece, you're paying only $22.49 for 90 rounds of ammo which is a great deal.

Hmmm.... As For Sigunner.... I think some poor soul that has a .223 AR-15 is now force to use the 5.56 that they might have gotten switched by mistake :) .......J/K I hope thy get it fixed for you dude.

I had ordered some Federal 5.56 FMJ BT 55gr. 1080rds total on the 26th of Dec. 2014 and they just arrived today01/07/15. Never got an e-mail that it was shipped from them(PSA).... All I got was and e-mail from UPS saying I got a mail order heading my way 4 days ago and that order just came today. I figure it was from PSA cause the weight of the package was 32lbs :) And I was right. I as worried too but they came through.

Do not order they will ignore you when they send you wrong inventory

In my experience, they take 2 weeks to respond to emails.

Just a heads up. Walmart carries these a lot of time and they have started price matching online stores. Walk-in show them the PSA deal and boom out the door you go. The price went from 44 bucks to 26 bucks when I did this a couple days ago. YMMV depending on the store.

I just tried this today, they took an hour to come back and tell me they wouldn't price match online stores. Might have to try a different Walmart...

Slow shipping and no response is the only reason I don't bother order from them anymore. Great deal if you order a few boxes of this or other deals they have on 5.56 ammo.
Has anyone actually ordered the ammo and got it in a decent amount of time. Say under a week?

What works for me with PSA is if I need something quick, I only order that one item, (or many of the exact same item) and if I don't get a tracking number quickly, I call and mention I only ordered one item to expedite the process. Obviously with some items like uppers or complete guns, we all know with PSA it take a lot more time to process.

PSA gets a lot of flack for slow processing, and rightly so, but if you have patience, the deals they offer are often worth the wait.

PS, I hate waiting like everyone else, but I love getting a good deal more.

Order placed on 12/31/14... No sign of shipping yet. Order still shows as "Processing" in my account dashboard.

According to the AR15 forums they are on orders from 24Dec.

I get they are busy, but they were quick to process my credit card for payment. Just wish the other side of the house (shipping) maintained the same work ethics. :-)

Wasn't sure if I should thumb up or down.... That is crazy slow processing. Thank you

In this box it will be, I ordered 20 rd. boxes thats where the mistake was made

that wasn't clear. So this is 5.56 and you ordered something else by mistake?

0 votes
0 votes

No I ordered 5.56 and that's what the invoice they sent me said. And they sent .223 their mistake not mine. And they won't respond to make it right. I'm getting really pissed I would have ordered other items since but refuse until they respond. I wish others would boycott because of their horrible customer service. DO NOT ORDER

Can anyone confirm if this is .223 or 5.56?

I've emailed them, they haven't responded YET I hope.

The only reason why not is they may send you .223 instead of 5.56. They did it to me!

I would be pretty upset. You should get a hold of them and let them know. Someone must have made a mistake. PSA is not the kind of business to intentionally screw their customers. At least from my own experiences with them.

32 cpr shipped on strippers. Best deal I've seen on 193 since the pannic. Why buy wolf gold or remans at 30 car when you can get this or independence for 31-32

2 votes

agreed. I snagged a case of Wolf Gold about a month back for 30cpr shipped but would have rather bought this at 32cpr any day. Now let me see if my wife thinks i have more room for ammo...

Damn, shipping was only $26 for 10 boxes to Texas. Put it around .031 per round which is still a decent deal

At $26 to ship 900 rds, it's 0.317 /rd - which is still a decent deal, as you said.
At $29.90 to ship 990 rds, it's 0.318 /rd - a buck more, and not bad either.

FWIW, $50 for shipping here in ND for 990 rounds.

$29.50 shipping for 11 boxes, 990 rounds to Florida

$12 shipping on 2 boxes....so almost 40 cents per round, I'll pass.

These work great out of my Glock.

Personally I like to throw them up in the air like clay pigeons and try to hit the primer with my .45 Glock. Makes a hell of a noise when you connect the primer with a .45 cal.

Same. I put a 60rd drum on my concealed Glock.
