I got my ammo shipment today and Brownells went full cheap. They didn't even put it in a shipping box, but stuck the shipping label on the Federal Ammo box. Nice advertise to my nosy neighbors and potential thieves that there are a 1,000 rounds of ammo sitting at my front door.

Also, the box busted during transit and FedEx had to be repack and relabel the package. Terrible, but glad I got cheap ammo before they went out of stock.

Been looking at this for long enough and finally it got the better of me. Out came the card. Now got the fever. Need to see if other calibers qualify since I still have 135$ left for my "household". .40? .38 spc? I'd jump on the 9 but damn the 115gr.

As long as you haven’t gone over the $200 per household and I think you can only mail in two different envelopes. You can put as many rebates as you want into each envelope though.

I already received $50 rebate check on previous order, am I qualifying for another rebate? Can anyone advise? Thanks

They changed it so now it is $200 per household.

"This rebate may not be combined with any other offers or coupons affecting the same product". You guys think we'll get hosed after using the discount code?

Nope, already got my rebate after I used the code.

Not quite. My Full Metal Jacket quality flick ... when I watch it ... when I and the Klinch wholly enjoy it's final scene. Not quite I don't need the hooked on phonics barter bastards' retail . Pastying up my musketeer. Not yet. My experts approved baseline. We can make pixie dust out of their mistakes.

10% off code no longer valid

This is probably obvious to most but fyi, I added a 95 cent part to get to the 300 dollar limit and used the new MBP code for 30 dollar's off and free shipping, came out to 270.75 for me.

Coupon MCF gives 10% off + free shipping, so even better than the H7L code.

$300 - 10% = $270 - $67.5 (rebate) = $202.50 for 1000 rounds

It worked for me. Took 10% off, and added a credit for full shipping amount ($9.95)

MCF worked for me Wed, Oct 18 PM, but it must have expired. H7L still appears to be active.

Anyone else have the issues that I’m having with the rebate???

I just purchased a case and when I enter UPC and total cost amount it shows me 5.00 rebate. Do you think this was a mistake that they caught? Is this not considered an "Ammo Can"??

0 votes
0 votes

Use the 20 UPCs from the boxes in the case.

0 votes
0 votes

Yep I was thinking to do that! Doesn’t that mean that we’d end up getting 100 (20*5) back???

Only if $5 per box is less than 25% of the purchase price. The rebate is limited to 25% of the purchase price not to exceed $5 per box.

I have ordered ammo from BROWNELLS before. They are first class American Company. Any mix ups, they correct immediately. Very professional. This last order for the 45s, I had 3 cards that I wanted to use. Probably, difficult to do on the online. But an operator helped me get it ordered. One of the best to do business with.

Do you have to enter upc from each box or is there just one to enter for the case?

You enter the UPC once & enter the quantity, cut out & mail in all the UPC's along with the filled out form & store receipt(s).
Idk for sure but you may have to enter the UPC from the smaller boxes inside the case (the actual box of ammo).
The online form takes the UPC & shows the product to confirm it qualifies for the rebate (& how much it is).
If I remember correctly the rebate doesn't include the cost of extra fees like tax/shipping, just the purchase price.

MBJ coupon $30 off $300 has expired, you can still use H7L $20 off $200.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Federal Rebate states max $5.00 per qualifying box. There are 20 boxes in this case of 1000, so wouldn't the rebate be $100. UPDATE: Did not calculate 25% off purchase price. Rebate $69.95 amount correct. Great deal on this ammo.

New rebate link is https://sporting.myonlinerebate.com/11659/
Indeed they bumped it to $200 per household!

damn. I already submitted mine for the 9mm ammo for $45... will they allow a second submission or is it "you have to submit all your rebate stuff at once, so no multiple submissions"?

Okay, I just found out that the link that posted is old. Google American eagle rebate and you will find the update information.

Since I purchased 1000 rounds of AE 9mm from Brownells a couple weeks ago, I don't think I'm eligible. $50 per household is the max and the 9mm rebate came out to about $46. Unless they allow you to combine?

jaybone909, I did the same thing...I bought thousand rounds American eagle 9mm from sportsmans guide. The rules in the link state "Maximum of a $5 rebate per qualifying product and $50 per household." I don't know where the person who posted got the $200 per household from. I've read the rules several times and I don't see it. Unless I'm missing something the limit is $50 per household.

It looks like they've changed this, the older "summer savings" rebate was a max of $50 per household, but now the "super savings" one appears to be $200 per household. It looks like they may have just altered the name/terms to sell more ammo. They also increased the rifle version that was $200 max to $400 max.

todd308, where did you find the "super savings" rebate. I will purchase more if I'm eligible.

So I've contacted the rebate company asking them this ? and will post their answer.

So the old "summer savings" rebate that was issued a few months ago was department #11659 for the mailing of the rebate (other federal rebates have different department numbers so I'm assuming the department # is unique to each rebate), and at the time it was limited to $5 per box and $50 per household.

This Super Savings rebate, bears the same department #, but the new terms are a max of $5 per box and $200 per household.

Older "super savings" rebate with max $5 box/$50 per household link (this is posted in the ad above) note the “summer” in the link:
https://sporting.myonlinerebate.com/images/11659_summer_2017.pdf

The new or updated "Super savings" rebate that is identical except for the $200 max and is linked from brownells and the federal promotions page (note the “extended” in the link):
https://sporting.myonlinerebate.com/images/11659_extended.pdf

I take this to mean they have extended the rebate so people can get $200 total, so if you took advantage of the $50 rebate before you should be good for another $150 under the terms of $5/box max and 25% of the purchase price. Again I’ve asked them this ? and will update when they respond.

I actually only noticed this because of the math on the brownells page for the ammo. They were taking ~$70 off for the rebate and I was going to post something saying that can’t be right because the rebate has a $50 max, but then I looked at the details of the rebate and it now shows $200 max. I was hoping something like this would happen because these rebates go through the end of the year, so otherwise there’d be no great rebate deals till next year.
