If you have any of the 20% off giftcards you'll be at $0.036 cpr.

Or just buy the 550 packs at walmart and you’ll be at .036cpr and not burning a 80/100 gift card. Just saying

I wonder if these will ever be in stock again at Walmart. Over the past few weeks, I've purchased 13 boxes from my area stores, and brickseek is now showing no stock anywhere.

Last few months they have been coming in in waves. When they come in it seems every store in our area gets at least 2 cases.

If I spend $99, they should throw in free shipping WITHOUT having to enter a promo code... just saying...

Do you think Cabela’s tore the boxes open or something of the like? Wouldn’t it be more likely the shipper screwed up your package? Don’t fall victims to Nose, Spite, Face disorder.

Hard to beat 5cpr shipped. Found one other deal for 4.5cpr shipped for 100 boxes of 50, but I'll pay the extra half a cent for the bulk boxes!

.$15.00 a box aint bad for this bulk ammo - relatively clean, accurate, & dependable in my experience (YMMV) - bulk ammo nevertheless. Nice to see .22lr available again....basic minimags $7.47, stingers $6.47 @ local Phoenix walmart all last week. Ya'll have a good day.

By coincidence today picked up a couple boxes at ft worth Cabela's marked 19.99 but was charged 17.99.

The new ammo trend soon coming with all box size . Do not raise prices but cut the number of rounds down in the box = More profit. Just like your Ice Cream, Orange Juice, Cereal Box, coffee , Less in the box or can and price same or up a little. .

Federal 36 grain HP. 325 Rounds for $19.99 Wait for Gander to get the Federal Champion 525 Rounds in stock $24.99 $5.00 more for 200 Rounds more better deal. Same bullets.

How about the drop all these dumb assed rebates and tee shirts and free dog biscuits etc. and just sell the damn ammo for a fair price.

With the run on ammo, ammo went into overdrive in production. Now that the run has slowed and or ended they are stocked up with more then they can stock instead of lowering the price they give rebates. Logic is they sell at increased price and give rebate and don't lower the price per unit price. After their stock goes down, and ours go up, rebate stops and increased price stays. That's the way I look at it which may be wrong but there not going back to their old price now that they know they can sell for more profit.

The free T-shirt deal only looks to be for Gander Mountain? The rebate link below the deal is a link to GM. Looks like a sweet shirt though.

They raised price from $17.99 to $19.99 today - I used code 17SPRING and MIR 2nd amendment yesterday.

It only reduced it to $179.90. How do I get the other $20 taken off?

1 vote

You must have put 10 in your cart. The price listed in this posting is only for 8. 8 x 19.99 = 159.92 - $20 off $150 w/ 17SPRING = 139.92

+/- $165 for 3250 rounds with code, MIR, taxes delivered to store....not bad for Cabelas (or anybody else)....thanks for posting SigmaC & boksaman.

I didn't have any coupons, but I was able to use the discounted gift cards that saved me 20%. This came out to 4.8 cents per round delivered to my door.

$20 off $150 with code 17SPRING good through 3/8/17.

I don't think the $25 off will work together with the free shipping, so I guess you have to choose either or. I have once given a $20 off from cabelas, but I have to give up the free shipping, so basically I got like $5 off.

The $25 off will work really well for store pick up.

nvm. didn't work. I bought a coupon on ebay and you can only use one code. It sends up being almost no money saved with shipping costs.

Just picked up 5 boxes. With their current $25 off $100 coupon and Free Shipping/Store Pickup, it's $14.99/box. That's pretty good these days...

You can see what they look like on Ebay. People are selling them for about $5 a piece.

My local Cabela’s is giving out paper coupons but they also have online codes on them which are listed as single use. There are (2) $25 off $100 valid Dec 1- 7 and 15-24 and (1) $30 off $150 valid Dec 8-14. No you can’t have my codes ;)

Bought a case of these and had them delivered. Not happy at all. 3 of the 10 had busted open with the boxes tore all the eff up and the there was no packaging material in the box at all. The box itself was beat and barely holding up. I called Cabelas and they would do absolutely NOTHING for me. I realize that they are regulated by the ATF on ammo shipping through the mail and I could not return to a store or send back...but they wouldn't even refund or consider it. Told me that I'd have to report it to my sherrifs office and then submit a report, after which I could request a refund. Like I have the time for that...

If you order I would HIGHLY recommend shipping to store so you can at least get your ammo safely. I'm out $60 worth and that's a huge shame as I was going to gift these.

All told they have lost my business completely and hope my experience might prevent any others from being screwed. Happy Thanksgiving!

Was the ammo damaged and unusable? If not, it's just a box. I wouldn't expect and money back just for damaging the box.

haha yeah you're not "out $60 worth" if 3 of the cardboard packages are damaged but you still have all the bullets, you're out about .5 cents of cardboard.

I'm so confused by the demand for a refund.

0 votes
0 votes

Demand for a refund was based on the fact that I bought 10 boxes abs only received 7 intact. The other three were damaged so much they were just empty boxes. The outer packaging was so damaged that 90% of the loose ammo had fallen out of the box. I'm not even sure how it made it to my door. Apologies I wasn't clear about my situation but I do completely feel my desire for a refund of lost ammo was justified.

Was the ammo missing / or just outside of the retail carton but inside of the shipping box? You paid for ammo not a box. They should have offered you a courtesy credit of a few dollars but expecting to keep the contents and the refund is just crazy talk.

I've always had good luck with Cabelas. Shipping to store or to residence.

So does anyone know if these are the fresh fire cans? This is the amount that used to come in those as well as the 36 grain HP?

The rounds are the same as those Federal Champion 525 packs 36 Grain HP . The box style is the same as the Federal Auto Match but with the new cover in the picture.

Thanks bulls-eye! So it's basically a new offering from Federal. (meaning a lower count box of the 525's)

I had to go to Cabela’s today because they were the only local place that had 7.62x25 ammo in stock. I could never put my finger on why the customers annoyed me so much but I finally figured it out today; there are two (main) types of people that shop there, rednecks that are trying to be yuppies, and yuppies that are trying to be rednecks. I am not sure which group is sadder and neither group is succeeding. Worse yet I fear the groups might be interbreeding.

BTW, the Cabela’s in Garner NC had plenty of this on the shelf as of about 4PM today.
