It doesn't claim to be. For those who can read as well as write, it clearly states Gov't/SOCOM profile. It's a 'best of both worlds' approach by Faxon that utilizes the tried-and-true government profile from the chamber to GB shoulder, from there is the SOCOM profile, with thicker material from the GB to the muzzle. Please read before you start making serious accusations such as 'false advertising'. RTB is veteran owned and operated, they, as well as Faxon, know what they're doing, do you?
False advertisement. This is not SOCOM profile. A true SOCOM profile should be 14.5 inch carbine length thicker from gas block to chamber. Thus it can withstand higher rate of fire. If you want an accurate SOCOM, get a Colt. Not much more expensive counting the pinned FSB.
