2) If you actually possess a pistol and the FAB COBRA STOCK device, even if the pistol is not assembled into the FAB COBRA STOCK device, the combination would constitute a short barrel rifle (SBR) which may not be lawfully possessed unless it is registered per NFA Laws.

MY KID HAS THIS. ITS ORANGE. SAYS NERF ON IT. NO JOKE.

This is the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen but what do I know?? I know I wouldn’t buy one at gun point.

You can buy one of these for $35 add a buffer tube and a brace and save yourself a $200 tax stamp and stay away from Botach.

I'd actually be curious about a determination on this. The ATF gets goofy with language, and this is "designed" to be used with a stock. I didn't see reference to a letter on the site, and not exactly helpful that they tell you to do your own research about the product if you want to circumvent the NFA by using this.

If you use a brace, they could possibly interpret that as "designing or redesigning" what was supposed to be designated for a "rifle" onto a "pistol". Technically, since you started from a glock "pistol", there is some leeway on the back and forth, but it's sometimes better to ask permission rather than forgiveness in this situation.

They really get to make up the rules as they go, and the reality is if they want to fuck with you they will. I'm currently hesitant to pay much for any brace now anyway, since it has caught the attention of the pols recently.

I use this stock with 16inch Glock barrel I got with CAA Glock carbine kit. Gives you a true sniper package in small packable kit.

Seems that your definition of sniper evolves around video games and not real life.
A 9mm will not reach 500 yards let alone accurately and that is the closest range a sniper is likely to shoot at, usually it's 800 yards and out.
Go back to school little boy, reality has failed you.

9mm will reach 1000 yards with the right ammo, gun & shooter behind it.

That was after I was challenged to a shooting competition by you guys. Are you guys in a gang? You see to reply on the same threads. Any who , if you guys don't like the platforms thats ok....but I enjoy mine and have a blast shooting them.

Where are you getting 500yds from? If you don't want a Glock sniper package you do not have buy this stock and the CAA 16in barrel. I use my $40 eBay scope and minute of bad guy accurate at 100yds with this 9mm setup. FYI...historically snipers were limited by their optics and stuck to mostly 300 and 400 yds shots those old x 2.5 magnification reticles obscures too much target at distance. Snipers engage at all distances if they have no choice.

I am just giving the 411 on sniper Glock setups. Don't expect modern high power rifle accuracy out of these setups and you will be happy. They shoot as well as can be expected. The Germans were putting rifles stocks on their old Broomhandle pistols in the early 20th century.

No, you're a troll. Indeed, the germans were putting stocks on pistols. They weren't adding 16" articulating barrels to systems not designed for them, nor housing them the more plastic than the gun weighs. I'm expecting troll power accuracy with "minute of bad guy".

You are correct. The Germans were using materials of that era, wood and steel. They did in fact create some carbines with longer barrels, and wooden rifle stocks attachments. If they had modern polymers , I am sure they would have been able to create a superior system. I am glad you understand the accuracy potential of this platform, minute of bad guy is about what you can expect. I am not sure why you come on to this FAB and CAA items if you don't like the products.

The long barrel luger is an anomaly. Probably because they realized it was terrible design to begin with. With the exception of the m712, most of the other sub machine platforms were carbines from the start. Not modified pistols.

For anything "sniper", I'd hope for something much better better than "minute of bad guy". 6' groupings are kind of shit. Even for 9mm. Especially with a "skope". CAA created a derperator cult, they deserve anything that's thrown at them. FAB I know less about, but selling a "stock" so you have to buy a stamp for your glock, fuck that.

Yes, without the AOW stamp. The stamp itself is cheap at $5, but they smack you with $200 for "manufacturing" one by installing it.

The should just rename it as a brace then all is good.

This is for the guy who claims he doesn't have "room" for a backup gun but has extra pockets in his trench coat for shoulder stocks and vertical grips and all the time in the world to 'assemble' his SBR before going all John Wick on 30 bad guys.....

Only works on full size Glocks.

This works great and very lite, it's a stabilizer, Improves accuracy.

And it isn't a NFA weapon?

With the forward vertical grip, yes if I'm not mistaken.

Not with the blade 'stabilizer'. Of course, shouldering it then makes it a NFA violation...

Ordered this stock from Botach and got an item that did not match the manufacturer description: "made in Israel" was missing and 2 out of 3 pins were plastic. Very wobbly when extended and on top of all that did not fit to G17 handle. Only went about 1/2 way in. I had a chance to use the original Maco/Fab in Israel with my buddy's G18 and even the well used stock was not wobbly at all.

Nice to see JohnB listen to the feedback from the last time these parts were listed on here and added the NFA requirements. I respect that, Good JOB!

Pretty much the idea... I was lucky enough to rent a G18 mounted in a K-Pos a couple years ago.
Also i think in some euro/asian countries they're not permitted to own a rifle or carbine but these are still considered legal handguns, so theres more appeal for them abroad.

Still this is the worst of glock-carbines Ive handled. As usual you get what you pay for. If youre actually going through the trouble to SBR in the US check out the K-Pos or HERA Triarii kits instead.

$99.95 + $200 Tax stamp=$295 for the dumbest add on crap...I'd rather take that 295 add 200 more and get another glock.
