I have this myself, not bad but the USB charging function will not work on any IPhone 5 or above, JSYK.
Agreed - you hit the nail on the head. This won't charge any modern smartphone but it will work for flip-phones other small-screen phones. You just can't create the current required to charge a phablet with the tiny crank handle/generator on this unit. I have a similar unit without the red cross logo. It won't charge my ZTE Zmax 2, but it will charge the ZTE z223 I keep as an emergency phone in the truck (but it does take forever to get it to a full charge!)
I don't know what the f*** you guys are talking about but will it charge an Android?
