They won't match Palmetto Armory.
Not bad if you already have the membership ($40), their shipping is ridiculous though $21 to ship an eotech. By the time you are done the shipping and membership eat up the $75 rebate. Still not a horrible price, but nothing amazing. Basically comes out to $390 after the rebate if you are not a member, which is still cheaper than just about anyone else that's an official dealer.
Here's another trick they pull, if you had a membership expire, when you renew you don't get a full year of membership for the price. For example my membership expired in April of 2017, if I pay the $40 to renew, my new membership would only be good till April of 2018, they basically force you to pay backmembership dues if you don't renew at the same time your old membership expired.
But do you really want to trust a company that lied to the US Military for years?
I agree. This is a failed product and doesn't deserve the price they're asking. I'm glad they made good on refunds but I haven't seen they corrected the flaw.

Experience 100 degree heat
No issues on both EOTECHs keepin zero
The issue is related to heat shift from large temperature differences (beyond that experienced by ammunition alone), not just hot temps by themselves.
For example: Sighting at 50F, then re-checking zero at 110F. There is to be an expected a shift depending on the type of powder used in your specific ammo, however, the shift encountered by some EoTech users was way WAY beyond that.
I live in SC where we have numerous days of 100+ degree heat and 90% humidity, and I've never had issues with my EOTech 512.
I would look for these prices to drop in the future, especially with the lawsuit and buy back program by eotech. Personally, I think you're crazy to buy one, if your life depends on it. Can someone please explain how to get this for $399.99? I keep getting $444.97!
The 444.97 is the normal 10% discount that members get, use coupon code SK1491 and it will show up at 399.99. Also if your an Ebates member (Free to sign up) you get an additional 6% back in an accout that is paid quarterly. You just sign up and link sportsman guide through ebates to get the extra 6%. I just made my eotech purchase today using them and got almost 30 more off.
