Just a fine, inexpensive home security shotgun. These are well made for the price. I've shot several hundred rounds of all sorts of loads without issue. Pretty hard to find an "unreliable" pump shotgun. Pretty basic design. Definitely not a hunting gun but perfect for the truck or closet.

Fired over 1000 rounds of bird shot, turkey loads and slugs suffering only a couple double feeds. Love the sights well worth the money, would buy again.

I bought this shotgun about 6 months ago. Have run slugs, and all types of shot through it, all in all over 1000 rounds and zero fails. Not bad for the price. The only thing I didn't like was the sights, mine will not zero anywhere close to impact point. I added a inexpensive Tacticon red dot and now am having fun with it.

Not sure why they sent it to me.I found it in one of my SG credit card billing statements.I think it was given because I had been using their credit card.

I think that Turkish shotguns are pretty decent quality for the money.I picked up the Dickinson marine finish model when it was 160 bucks at SG.I had a 50 dollar coupon that SG had sent me so for 110 I'm happy with it.

Hey guys is this an 870 clone?

0 votes

No it is not. When I talked to the company last year they told me it was not, because it is build using metric dimensions. Most of the Turkish shotguns are clones of the Italian brands.

Too bad the pump isn't the Luma Shark with the built in dual flash lights.

I bought this. Seems like it has great reviews. I picked mine up and it seems like good quality, fit and finish is great. Only issue I had was that I could only load 4 shells into the 5 shell tube. Had to break out the plastic spring retainer to get the 5 load capacity. I haven't shot it yet but I would buy it again.

If you want a piece of shit shotgun, Walmart sells Hatfields for $99. Why bother with this?

Except that Walmart doesn't sell Hatfield shotguns for $99.

Walmart sells a ton of other things I wouldn't buy too

One often overlooked caveat of certain import firearms is there really is no aftermarket support. To some, that means nothing. To others, it's well worth a few more $$$ to have something you can tinker with.

As always, YMMV

What the heck...I ordered one! Will provide some feedback once I take possession of the little fella.

I called Emperor Firearms. These guns have a one year warranty and are built to metric specifications. The internals are identical to the Emperor Guardian Tactical, that has been a top seller at Bud's since 2013, and has a review rating of 4.6 stars. Based on reviews of other models of Emperor pump shotguns, I think this gun should be highly dependable with 2 3/4 inch shells. As with most shotguns, 3 inch shells may cause more cycling issues due to their added length. The Vism Tactical Flashlight w/mount runs $40 online and appears to be a solid performer with a average rating 4 1/2 stars. The shell holder runs $7 and also has a 4+ star rating. KyGunCo has waived their 3% credit card fee keeping the price at $138.71 shipped. Find yourself a $10 FFL and you will have a bunch of home defense firepower for under $150.

10 FFL? *gasp* I can't find one under $40 in my city. (Orlando)

Check Bud's FFL finder. They post prices, and reviews. I'm located about 35 miles south of OKC an Bud's shows about 15, $10 FFL within a 50 mile radius. I'm sure a number of them have raised their prices by now, but if you find a good one you like it's worth a little extra.

Depends a lot on where you are located,,,, Here in Houston, it's typically 25-40, unless you insist on shipping it to BassPro, where they want 80 bucks! (YIKES!!!)

If you are close enough use Lone Star Defense and Arms on Longpoint Rd just outside of 610 West. Top notch people and $15!!

Have they fixed the issue with shells getting stuck between the receiver and carrier which required partial receiver dissassembly? It looks cool, but criminals won't cease fire while you disassemble your shotgun. If fixed, it's a great deal. If not, it's just a tacti-cool range toy.

I know for this kind of $ it's not likely but if it had screw it chokes for the $140 i'd be down for at least 2, 1 to try and 1 to gift...

It's 130 bucks...what are you expecting? Looks like a fine beater, but I agree with the Maverick 88 idea.

The light is cheap. It’s also known as ncstar. Can buy them on eBay for $30. Not a good deal

so you're saying the shotgun itself is ~100 bucks? What's your definition of a good deal?

0 votes

What I believe he is saying is that the tactical light on the shotgun is not a good deal. I agree, because even though this is an inexpensive shotgun, the quality is going to be in the receiver, not the external components. This is a subsidiary of Beretta, so it's got quality baked in from the get go!

I'd just spend the extra $60 and buy a Maverick 88

I guess. It is 45% more than this gun. Personally I would get this one and spend the money on shotgun shells.

These are made in Turkey to ISO 9001 standards. I believe they are sold under several brand names. I bought one and have no doubts about it's quality... I hope this helps...
