Picked up one of each color 31rd. mags to see if I like them. If they run well I'll probably get more.

Sample size of 1. Total junk. Loaded maybe 15 rounds before the follower turned sideways and had cartridges turning in every direction.

Never even fired a shot. Couldn't get the mag loaded.

Made in America got my hopes up and I ignored reviews. Lesson learned.

Call ETS and see if you can exchange it for another mag? I have six of these 31 rounders and they feed & run flawlessly to date (6 months) now in all my 9mm glocks & my sub2ks.

IMHO, after a lot of use along side the OEM Glock mags, ETS are very close to being just as good with no issues ever.

I only have one of these mags. I bought it just to pad an order up to free shipping level, so I basically got it for free. I've run hundreds of rounds through it in two Glock pistols and a Kel-Tec Sub 2000. It's never malfunctioned. I was pleasantly surprised at how reliable it is.

Update 6/22/19 - My ETS magazine started failing to feed in 4 different guns so I threw it away. I'm having no issues with the extended Glock or Magpul magazines. The ETS spring seemed worn out.

I was sure these would be crap but I have ran about a thousand rounds through one mag, most of it in full auto through a post-sample 9mm AR and I have not had a single problem with it. I wouldn't carry one but for range mags I would not hesitate. I am going to order several more. Nice to be able to tell at a glance how much ammo remains, especially if you mill a witness hole in your mag well.

Also - I’ve had very good luck with Korean made SGM tactical 33 round glock mags, constructed of the same design as factory glock mags. Those mags are also the mags that IV8888 used in his glock burnout video, icy performed perfectly. Price is (was?) very comparable.

I need to test this theory, but I think that these are similar to the magpul glock mags in that they are reliable with brass cases ammunition, but not with steel. I have quite a few of them, stopped running them because of problems feeding (rounds were jammed down inside of mag, a slap made them jump to the top) and eventually got a bunch of magpul GL9s, and they had the same issue.

After much research and minimal testing, I discovered that magpul glock mags don’t run steel cased ammo well, but you can lubricate the mag and that generally solves the issue of jamming within the body.

I’m not against using steel case, that’s nearly all I train with.

TLDR:

I have had similar problems with these and magpul glock mags, I solved the Glock mag issue by using brass cased ammo or simply oiling the interior.

I haven't shot steel cased ammo with mine. Steel would probably wear out the feed lips faster.

Great mag and cheaper at Botach.

I have seen these go for slightly less, but this is a very fair price and they don't gouge on shipping

I got 3 of the 31 rounders, upgraded them with generic +2 baseplates. All 3 ran perfectly at the range. Springs are REALLY strong. Build quality is way above the KCI's and other asian mags. I recommend 'em.

Do you have to upgrade the base plate for them to be reliable or what?

I have found these mags to have weak springs. When I want to train for malfunctions. I run these.

I like to train against malfunctions. I don't know why you would want to train for malfunctions.
