Mine has functioned flawlessly. I shoot mainly 38spl. As mentioned, the grip is a bit small, and 357 can be a little uncomfortable. Unfortunately there’s not many aftermarket options for this gun.

Looks like a nice gun for the money. Everyone should have at least one good revolver in case of a semi auto ban.

Piece of shit company. Stay away from them

My gf got one of these used for 200. Its a great pistol, seems well made and smooth to operate. The grip is a little smaller than I would like but was able to fit a grip for a "taurus tracker I believe" with a little modification.

The site says $273.99 was of 7-21-18 I can't figure out why there's no spot to enter a discount code. Nice pistol though

It appears you can't even browse their website without the black sign-in screen popping up to either log in or pay for an account. I'm not signing up and giving you my info and CC # just to look at your offers.

Would anyone pay money and sign up for a membership before being allowed inside a retail establishment to see what's for sale? I don't think so. NGOA stinks and isn't getting a dime of my money no mater how low their lure-you-in prices seem.

Anyone ever order through NGOA? Seems like a scam and all reviews I saw say it's dodgy. I question why you have to sign up for monthly Fee let alone can cancel anytime. Hell Sportsmansguide offers optional membership and you can ignore and check out still. Wonder how they can get some many ads to post on here if reputation is shit.

Hey Gunsnbutter,

I am one of the owners of NGOA, the reason for the monthly fee is we have all of our products marked down to ZERO margin. That means your buying at our cost. We have FREE shipping, No CC fees. If for some reason someone has a better price, We will MATCH that price and give you another 5% off. In other words we have the best prices in the USA! We have thousands of Members who love the NGOA and the prices!

Msrp prices. What a joke

They should be removed from this website! What a joke!

I think you just answered your own question. It's not like Amazon Prime where your buying quite a bit of stuff and it offsets the membership. I'd gladly pay a higher price and deal with somebody that has a simpler business model.

Agreed and good points all around. I hope they read this but unfortunately I believe their business model is built around making money off the people who forget about the fees and only buy one or two guns at a slightly reduced cost.

ForGlockSake... Love that name by the way!

I am one of the owners of NGOA, Our business model is built around selling all your outdoor needs at cost, I don't believe fellow gun nuts should be getting ripped off and or paying any margin to protect their families. Our Members know they are members, They get a welcome phone call, Membership card, and a catalog shipped to their house every month! Yesterday we had a member save over $600 on a optic!

I just looked through your site and I saw some good deals but most of your products are priced at MSRP sooo if u r a owner your all lies and I'll never recommend you to any of my clientele. Don't Be A Fake whoever u r

Actually the 357 model is all steel, the 38 is not.

Decent magnum for the price. Only quibble is the grip. Just a bit short for total comfort. I think this model was just a longer barreled version of their concealed carry model. Zero aftermarket options for grip replacement, so buyer beware.

If only it used screws instead of the rivet things/tapered pins for assembly...

I'm a Smith guy, but a friend wants a wheel gun on a budget (hates autos).
For those who own/reasonable time with both, how do these compare to a Taurus wheel gun?
Thanks in advance.

Not the greatest deal ever but still a decent price for a decent revolver

Where ever you get it from around this price, you won't be disappointed! No, it's not a S&W, but at 50% less with good fit-and-finish and an above average quality, If you're looking for a safe queen, keep looking. If you want good quality, zero issues, and a gun you can actually shoot, count on, and beat-on, this is a no-brainer....

To update my previous post below: sportsmans never got it back in stock until now, I ended up getting it from classic about a month ago for $295+ $15 shipping. I haven't shot it yet, and it's the first revolver I have owned so not much to compare it to, but it seems well built and the cylinder locks up tight. The only thing that screams budget when you pick it up are the grips, very light plastic, doesn't feel that solid... but they do have a nice profile and fit my medium hand really well. Planning to put 100 rounds of 357 mag through it in January after the holidays pass.

At first it took my order, then I immediately got an out of stock email. Been waiting for this to come back in stock for a long time...

I like this revolver and will buy one but not from SG. I was checking out but the $10 gun fee took me over the edge. I'll wait until one of the several other sellers have it back in stock. I'll pay less and feel better knowing I'm dealing with a company that is fair and up front.

Sportsman's Guide always bullshit. Advertised price then you go to the site and they try to cram a membership down your throat to get that price. Also, gun processing charge $10. Of course nothing is mentioned on the advertised price at slick guns.

Ordered this last month at a lower price. They emailed me about a week later that they could not get the gun. Now they have it at a higher price. Shady gun seller.

I bought one of these Friday morning. I used coupon code SN365 for $30 off. You can only use that code once though. Tracking shows it should arrive at my FFL on Tuesday. This is my first revolver so I'm kind of excited. I have no idea what normal ammo prices are for this though.
