Elevated Rail, for increased sight offset! woohoo

Looks a lot like the discontinued G22. It being switchable to a left-handed configuration without expensive mods is nice, especially in a bullpup. If you can get past the cosmetics it might be a nice shooter for those of us with lefty kids that dislike our 10/22s. 22mag is still easier to find than LR in many parts of the country. I wouldn't be too dismissive of this thing.

My Appeal 22LR is a little funky looking but it's a fun Bullpup(my first)to shoot and is very accurate and it's Italian. The metal sights are easy to dial in. My 3 x 9 scope dialed right in but I had to use a AR15 offset scope mount and turn it backwards to get the 3.5" eye relief required. I had to screw off the rear sight to allow the AR 15 rear most cross bolt to drop in the slot left by the empty space the rear sight was mounted. I did find the happy medium by installing a red dot sight on the weaver rail. I can now keep both eyes open and put tight groups on target with regularity. The supplied barrel cleaning rod isn't long enough to fully insert the whole barrel lenght without either using a longer cleaning rod or leaving the muzzle flash hider off. The barrel can be threaded for an A2 style birdcage which would give it a measure of coolness.
HP ammo is a must to prevent FTF problems.
I helped mine along by breaking the gun down and thoroughly cleaning and lightly oiling the moving parts. The gun needs broke in though. Also,I think that the trigger bar end could be fine filed and polished to get a better feel on the trigger action.

Hideous. If someone would bring a good looking, reliable, & affordable semi-auto .22 WMR to market, they would be rich. What's the problem?

I'm sure they'll produce at least 5 rifles in the next 5 years...

And you'll be able to buy one from CDNN as long as you purchase another, less desirable Kel-tec pistol at the same time. Buy more save more!

They did; the 10/22. This thing looks almost as silly as the ZiP

Looks like they started with a faxed picture of the FAMAS and decided it did not look high-tech and modern enough.
